I'm glad I don't see those trikes too often, I always have this uncontrollable urge to run them off the road. It's something to do with the positioning that makes them unbearably smug, like, "I'm laying back in a recliner and also getting exercise!" It seems wrong somehow.
I have never tried one but I'm sure there are advantages, like saving your back. I see (almost every time I take a certain route) what I call the "missing link" biker. He is like 70 at least, and is clothed in a pair of jeans. He has road bike which I cannot identify as all the lettering is worn off, but he is sort of a greyish redhead and he has an extremely hairy back, that sort of looks like it remains permanently ar
thritis-ist into the "bowed back" position. No helmet I think he wears sneakers?
I am torn between saluting him (what I usually do) and pulling over to ask him questions. Many questions.
My AM post. Yep, ya'll are welcome.
