Somehow, I think a good few remember this group...I ran across it because I read of Shel Silverstein.

Shel Silverstein wrote this and many others for Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show. What is different here is that it is a true story for the writer. Apparently, only the name was changed. She (Sylvia), and her mother knew who they were and never told anyone, but an investigative reporter tracked them down much later. They were surprised because they never told anyone how they related to the song. Anyway, he wrote many for Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show. They had many hits...in their lane of music. This is a quick grab of five.

One of my favs back in the day. My fav song was Sharing the Night Together. Oh the memories.
