Wandered out to the sanctuary for dogs 'n vape, after dinner in the diner, and got Skink'd again. Lower Alabama on the corner of Walk and Don't Walk. Where the fragrance is nice and all. The natives are friendly enough. But watch your step ... and GIT off my Jasmine

My wife, who is a great cook, gets a couple of these each month, Blue Apron. They are so good and generally quite different from our usual fare. Just enough for two. [And the ice packs are really nice for my back, old knees, ankles and lower legs.]

UP in the Diner ~~~
* Sweety, it's ready *
Sweety Drop Pepper Butter Pork Chop in Buttermilk Dill Seasoning with Asiago Cheese Asparagus and Red Onions ... Bon Appetit :)

Woke up with an atypical migrane this noon time, they are weird...absolutely no pain. Symptoms are a feeling of disorientation accompanied by visual distortions, like an electric curtain in my field of vision, a sort of tunnel vision with with my periferal vision all sparkly. It's been years since I got hit with one...guess I won't get much done today.

I've been experiencing those for years. Doctors call them either Optical Migraines or Visual Migraines, never could keep the term straight. Anyhow, when asking about them during visits to doctors and ophthalmologists for other issues, nobody was concerned in the least - sort of "yeah, some people get them". It has to do with a transient change in blood flow to the eye and optic nerve. First time I got one I thought I was having a stroke but all the professionals tell me they're harmless.

They are a total pita though. The only thing I've found that seems to shorten their effects are a couple of tylenols - which perversely enough also seems to cause them at times.

Ocular migraine?
Yes, I just tried to link the symptoms, and came to realize that many years ago, when I first experienced this phenomenon, I had a co-worker drive me to the ER...there the doc told me I had what I wrote in the first post. Now I know that it was a misdiagnosis at that time... you learn something new every day I guess. I've learned to just lie down in a darkened room and listen to some music till it passes over the years. They are very infrequent for me luckily.
