Last night I wished upon a star. I didn't waste my wish either. I wished I could perfectly wick small builds for optimal juice flow every single time. Just hope it was an actual star and not a satellite I wished upon. DOH !!!

EDIT: ... or space junk

    Baby Spinach-Artichoke Chicken with Roasted Broccoli, Radishes and Garlic ... Boneless Chicken Breast smothered with gooey, creamy Baby Spinach-Artichoke. Roasted for a light golden-brown Mozzarella top and served with Garlic Broccoli and Radish on the side. Packs the flavor in every bite. Bon Appetit :)

    Today I took my two cats to the vet for their annual exams, first one was easy to cage but her yowling warned the other and she was very difficult to capture after that.

    My vet has two beautiful fish tanks and lot's of healthy vibrant plants, he is a horticulturist by hobby apparently...

    Well, I have been eyeballing one of the African Violet specimens for about a year now, and today kindly asked him if he would allow me a leaf cutting to propagate this particular variant...he obliged, and then told me the back story to where this plant came from.

    As part of an experiment, some seeds were sent up to the international space station, and were expected to be brought back on the failed Challenger mission, so they had an unexpected extra time in low earth orbit and higher radiation levels...the mutation I had been attracted to was a result of this exposure to the space environment.

    I don't know how he came into possession of some of these seeds but he said a bunch of his plants were grown from them. I've got the leaf loosely wrapped with a paper towel, allowing some room, and it is submerged in water to encourage root growth, I don't want to use rooting hormone because on occasion it can cause slight mutations to occur, so yeah, I got some genetic living material that was in space at one time...I am pretty stoked, and also a little humbled at the same time...what are the odds of ever finding such a thing, by humbly asking, rather than sneaking a cutting when no one is looking, which I have been known to do in the past...

    I'd be surprised if NASA let something like that out of their possession.

    WOW! It might be cheaper to ride a cab than own a car with that few miles...

    If you think Rose-a-la drives few miles....... :rolleyes:

    I should just buy a cab company with the $$ saved on gasolina!

    I'm GUESSING that's not me, tho I've been known to act like a toddler more often than not. ;)

    I don't know how many miles I drive. Seems like I'm in the car alot, but maybe I just sit in the garage. :blink: Yeppers, my beautiful old baby hybrid has served (and continues to serve) me well!

    THANK YOU, Mr. Stamford Man. :wub:

    I was gonna tell ya to bake my baby a cake today, and tell her I miss her. :)

    :bday:

    A life changing event, it was, it was. It's the day that "sealed my vape" (for lack of a better term). :vapor:

    Thanks for remembering, and for giving her* a happy home.

    * Is "she" still a "she"? ;)
