@Hobbs
Hobbs! Steel's Elk antler (large, medium inner) came today. I waited until I sat down to watch a movie and eat before giving it to him. I handed it to him and at first he put his lips on it and then he backed away sat and looked at me like, "What's this? What's the catch?" Jackie told me to just drop it in the floor and that's all it took. He started on that thing @ 8:15PM and left it at 10PM. That was 5 hours ago and he's still sleeping. He only woke up to leave my chair and go lay on the couch in the living room. Actually, I think Jackie let him out before she want to bed.
Anyway, BIG HIT! Thank you! :thumbs: I talked to the dude who sells them and he told me that was the perfect choice for a dog his size and age. Said at 18 months, he would like to try a split hard inner. Sounds good to me! I'm thinking of the 3 antler special. One medium inner, one hard split and one forked.
Thanks again! Jackie told me, "Good idea!"
Btw, I told dude on the phone I got the idea from a guy on ECF. :thumb:

All right, you're never going to believe this. I wish I would've thought to say, "Xbox record that" when it happened. Started playing, "Red Dead Redemption II" on my Xbox One X a couple of daze ago. I just got to the point where I can do things in a order I choose and what not. First day setting up camp I decide to take a little stroll with my six shooter to see if I could bag something to share with the camp cook. What do you think was the very first thing I shot, killed and took back to camp? Don't everybody raise your hands at once. That's right, a black squirrel! Yep, I'm gonna love this game!
Btw, no evidence of squirrel activity under the hood of the Jeep all winter. I put chunks of Irish Spring (regular scent) in the engine compartment. Can't use moth balls under the carriage anymore due to having a puppy dog. Speaking of puppy dog, Steel lifts his leg and pees on my back tire. I don't say a word except, "Good boy!" May also have something to do with it.
