Oops, Nevermind

There once was a man from Nantucket,

Who purchased a second hand bucket;

There was no guarantee, as well he could see,

So he woefully sang this short couplet.

The miscreants formed a committee to demand I review their recommendation to revise the color of the book that rules and regulations are stored in ... we kept it gray

I got a script for Chantix from my pdoc before all the badness came.

I'm really grateful I kept the prescription because a) really anyone who knows me socially would be like "Anna and Chantix? Are you nuts? No, don't give her THAT. Smoking will kill her slower." Let's face it, it's my only chance.

B) Also strikes me as a valuable home defense system should it ever be needed. I'm pretty sure I could pass them off to my robber as "recreational drugs" and then I could tell the cops after the carnage that he was looking for a "good time" drugs and I would say, "I've been saving these since 2002. They're vintage. Etc."

Then the cops would be like, "Chantix? You gave him Chantix?"
And I'd be like, "He said he smoked. I just offered him some options.

Then they would say, "You're right. They're FDA approved after all. Congrats on helping him quit." As the half smoked cigarette fell out of his cold dead hand, they'd high five me.

Kidding. Mostly. I think I did toss the script after vaping successfully for a year.
GO vaping and that I mean sincerely. :)

Loved the ad.

Yes. I'm having dinner early (I even talked to the husband early!) and that means some more Meredith Grey. Ellen Pompeo needs to die. If she hasn't. 15 seasons of anorexia strikes me like a long time. Whoever the actor is who plays her love interest shouldn't die, but his head should be shaved and he should be forced into a lifestyle of like, neo-Nazism and murderous tattoos to make up for all those dreamy stares.

I don't hate myself for watching it AGAIN, it's a wonderful way to relax in the evenings.

I hate myself for watching it the "first" time and thinking it was okay. WTH. To be fair, I suppose I was 15 years YOUNGER but like, that seems like no sort of excuse.

I would watch ER again but no one seems to have it. IDK.

It somehow seems like, just a hair better than "Friends" though, I can't force myself to believe that anyone was watching it non-ironically somehow. I'm sure I'm wrong.

I need another season OF ARCHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rick and Morty! Something! I could watch Southpark again from the very beginning but it's been too many times, even for me.

I feel like I hear chewing somewhere in my living room. It's disturbing. Oh well.

"Here's one for friends."

I feel a disturbance in the force...

Just yesterday I somehow got sidetracked into some Bruce. I lost track of how many times I watched Jungleland, Born to Run, and Thunder Road.

While I was waffling through my first couple of years at school I was seriously considering a literature major. But even my naive youthicity didn't stop me from seeing two things wrong with that. 1) All that work to end up with an unemployable degree. 2) I never liked poetry. I almost typed "hated" but didn't mostly to try and be polite.

So my exposure to Springsteen was a revelation. I was a street rat gearhead running around with my car buddies, racing here and there, and always trying to go faster. The songs that man wrote absolutely, 100%, perfectly nailed the emotions I was having back then on those nights. So now maybe I don't dislike poetry after all - I just never heard the right words until then. And Jackson Browne came almost as close.

Just as a throwaway, I read a piece today about the songs Prince gave to other artists which were often credited under an assumed name. I lost 90 minutes or so listening to Sinead O'Connor and "Nothing Compares to You". There's so much surrounding that song and the artist that I'll leave it at that.

Unequivocally? Probably not. Most (admittedly biased) sources usually quote between 3,000 and 8,000, which is a fairly significant spread.

I'm comfortable simply saying, a ":censored:load."

That’s a little low imo.

More like a F:censored: Ton.

Personal, all. What strikes one (to love or hate) does not necessarily strike another to the same.

While we humans often act like lemmings, we are not. This is good, and I hope it remains the case.

I like to sing the song "if I had a Flower" inside my head, except every positive word I replace the term A-bomb, it makes me oddly happy in a weird way...

All true. For me, there are three levels. Like, don't like but talented, and don't get it at all. Musicians like the Bee Gees, Barry White, Taylor Swift, etc are nobody I have any interest in watching or listening to yet I can see why someone would. Then there are those I fail to see any talent or appeal. It escapes me completely. Will Ferrell is that way with me. I seriously have never laughed at a single thing he has ever said or done. His appeal 100% completely escapes me. Just me and I'm obviously in the minority.
