kudos on the score you got, it's like being a kid all over again, no!? And yeah, I was skeptical about the helmet thing, but now I do not ride without one...I've already gone down twice in the last year, once because I stalled in a sharp turn and could not unclip my cleats in time, the other I was crossing a wooden planked bridge with a lot of speed in the rain, the bike shot out from under me and I was slammed to the ground before I even realized what was happening...still got some marks from that crash...
If you don't crash with some frequency, you probably aren't bilking hard enough.

You can't let that stuff stop you. I should probably get on one (a bike) but I am picky and it would be expensive. LOL. Yoga seems to be plenty.

Only bike I still have. They aren't even made anymore. Lightweight aluminum frame, shaft-drive, 7-speed cruiser. Love that it can be shifted to any gear at any time, instantly. Whether moving or sitting still. Kinda like an automobile transmission. No chain and sprockets to ever worry with or about. Driveline and ratios said to be equivalent to a 21-speed conventional bike. 700 x 38C Schwalbe Marathon rubber. Upright riding on a big honkin' comfort seat and shock absorbing fork. Won't win any races though. Just a kinda weird hybrid bike that is an "effortless" cruise.

Did I mention rocket dude is nuts, too? I would never even TRY that. I think I have seen somewhere (the kid maybe, when he was actually a kid) see like skateboarders (they were tethered though) strapped to those boards without wheels, doing tricks in the air. But they were tied down. I also thought they were nuts.
American Ninja challenge whatever can be a fun watch (ALSO COMPLETELY NUTS) but if you can get the Japanese version it's even better. OMG they do stuff the Americans do on foot on like, UNICYCLES) ALSO COMPLETELY INSANE.

Same guy developed these it seems, then progressed onto the jet board, now he is working on a turbine powered car, hoping to get like 400 knot speeds and a decent range...

I think those were the things I saw on that show and people were doing tricks on them.

I was a very active skydiver for about seven years time, I'd imagine the training is similar.
Learn about the gear, potential malfunctions and how to deal with them, maintenance etc.
Then onto learning from instructors how it all works, how you initiate moves, use your body with the gear etc.
Basically step or block learning. Skydiving isn't nearly as dangerous as most people imagine, it's all about understanding your gear, training, staying current, and following well established protocols. Every jump is meticulously planned and practiced before ever gearing up, especially more complicated group formations.
And you are still diving out of a plane with only some parachute to keep you safe. Not my cup of vertiginous tea.
I'm scared of PLANE crashes, I'm not sure I could actually skydive for real, even for a million bucks. Maybe if I was allowed to do it under general anesthesia.

No point negotiating it now, though this seems the most hypothetical of hypothetical situations, and like, I probably WOULD do it, for a million bucks.
Same goes if some dude wanted an "Evening of passion" with me, I'm pretty sure the husband would be understanding.
That is ALSO extraordinarily UNLIKELY to occur, but I would TOTALY do it, and I bet the husband would TOTALLY understand and it wouldn't ruin our marriage.
