I just thought that I would share this link for those of you with PG sensitivities. There are only a few of these that even contain trace amounts of Ethyl Alcohol and those are listed as having it. From what I am told, it only takes about 1 drop to 30 ml of liquid to get good flavor with these. I have not tried them myself because they are very pricey and I have no problem with PG based flavors. If you are not able to tolerate VG, it may be a good option for you. Flavors

Ill splurge on one to try early next month and report back on it. Cant hurt if it turns out being good and its that concentrated. It would last forever and a day. Do we have any safety info on these? Theres none of the known bad chemicals in them?

The only info that I know of is on their site. There is nothing (additives) but flavor in them and I don't see any that could contain custard notes, so they seem to be as safe as any others.

I am thinking of getting just one to try too. If so, I also will report back. The curiosity is killing me.

I did suggest these to a friend that has PG allergies. I will also check with her to see if she ordered any and report back.

Oops, I do see coconut and vanilla so not sure about those if diacetyl is your concern.

Yeah it was the vanilla I was wondering about. I know it says 100% organic on the site. Id prolly send an email and ask before ordering either the coconut or vanilla though. I dont think either of those would be the one I order but in the future Ill keep it in the back of my mind should these be any good for flavoring. I love the idea of it being organic.

I did some quick math and realistically these really arent expensive at all if the concentration is truly like one drop in 30ml. I mean if a dropper is 20drops /ml (lets just say). Thats 300 drops in a 15ml bottle @ $22.00 its like. 07 per drop. If it really can flavor 30ml... the cost is even wayyyyy less than most other flavorings.

If this pans out they will have my repeat business for sure.

Nice find, Salem! Those look tempting. Every time I visit this board it seems like I find something else I just have to try. Ya'll are a bad, bad influence! ;)

I'm wondering if flavors like lemon, orange, and almond contain any oils. I'm also wondering what the shelf life on those flavors is, and if it's possible to use them up before they expire. Still...I'll probably order a couple, just to try them out.

So I wrote to the company and I asked if any of their flavorings contained any parrafins, oils of any kind, or diacetyl. Told them I needed to know for health reasons. Id assume their customer service person would take that information seriously.

Their reply, which was prompt btw, said the following:
" Thanks for your interest in our flavor extracts. As stated on our website the flavor extracts contain nothing other than the liquid flavor extracted from the fruits, nuts or flowers. Nothing else. Please note however that the Rum, Apricot, Lemon and Orange extracts are made with an alcohol extraction and retain a residual amount of alcohol."

So Im assuming from this reply that they are 'pure' flavor extracts.

Hmm. These look quite interesting, but they had better be quite concentrated for that price.

I would think that natural extractions would pull the natural oils out of the base material to some degree, but have had a hard time coming up with any specific info on this. If these are quite concentrated, then there wouldn't be much oil in the resulting e-liquid, though.

I agree. I am going to have to break down and try one of these soon.

There was a thread recently about Nature's Flavors and diacetyl where someone contacted them about whether or not it was in theirs. They said that there are small amounts in some flavors. I think they may have said it was naturally occurring... I could be remembering that part wrong. Anyway, pure and organic might not mean diacetyl free. Personally, I enjoy some custardy flavors here and there in small amounts, and am not too worried about it. But, I thought I'd post this for anyone concerned about it.

It might not even be an issue in this case though. Vanillas don't necessarily have to be custardy/creamy.

Well I took the plunge. I just ordered 15ml of the Morello Cherry flavoring. They say its like a cherry pie kind of cherry. It came to $28.95 with USPS 2 day priority shipping. The 2day and normal USPS shipping charge was the same. Not sure if Ill get an email saying "oops 2 day is more expensive" but if i so ill update my post. I did recieve a confirmation email right away.

I did tell them in my order comments that smaller sizes like 5 and 10ml would allow people to buy more flavors to try out. Sight unseen $22 is alot to spend if you end up not liking it at all. I suggest anyone else ordering try to plant this idea in their minds via checkout comments. Maybe they will listen to their NEW customers... lol.

Well, if the estimates are accurate (1 drop per 30ml) you could easily make your money back (and then some) if you sold it off diluted.

10% (or even 1/30th) strength would probably do very well. 5ml bottles @ $3 each @ 10% (30 bottles) => $90 :)

Sounds like a solid business plan in the making to me LOL

Either way, thanks for taking the plunge to help us learn more about them!

OH!!!!!!!!!! I do hope that it is good. I will feel badly if it is not :( That is a lot of cash to lay out on a flavor for sure. I will be keeping an eye out for an update.

We could all contact them and ask for smaller sizes lol

If that truly does taste like cherry pie filling, it might make a darn good cherry cheesecake :)

Well my thinking on ordering the cherry was that it is one of those flavors that many flavoring companies cant seem to do very well. So if theirs is any good, in my mind, it means whatever processes they use to produce them must also be good. Hence most of the other flavors will be very well done also. Maybe my logic on this is flawed in many ways but if they can do a cherry flavor right, they can do others right... lol.

Then again maybe its a $30 mistake and Ill use ro to make regular coke or pepsi into cherry coke, or have some good slushies on a hot day this summer!

As soon I have it in my hands, prolly mon or tues next week Ill mix it up and post results.
