Skagit (or anyone else who has tried) - did adding Walnut work for you to emphasize Banana? I vaped all of that tank yesterday, really enjoyed the flavor boost I got from Walnut.

Don't think this is any help but I just tried my Banana Nut Bread mix made on 5/13. I had added ripe banana @1% and walnut @.5% Probably too soon but it looks like the ripe banana is over powering the mix.. I can't taste the walnut at all. Needs more nuts. Still a tasty vape but kinda weak. I have some FA Nut Mix, do you think that would give me that nuttier taste?

On another note, I wanted to thank you for your Italian Nougat recipe. When I first read your recipe I knew it was going to be good. I mixed up the recipe up same day I got the flavors in the mail. It was so good that it would make you slap your granny. Thank you.

FA doesn't make 'Ripe Banana' - are you talking about TFA's Ripe Banana, or FA's Banana? TFA's is a strong one, but I think it's more like laffy taffy than something with a peel....or appeal.

FA Walnut is not a strong flavoring. You could add more. Nut Mix is pretty strong, so you might want just 0.25 or 0.5% of that in a nut bread. If all else fails, throw some Rum in there :D

Glad you like the Nougat, me too! I got Inwera's version to compare. I'm not sure what it's supposed to be - certainly not Italian nougat, and not like an American candy, either. I'm glad to have my FA version.

I got my PureVapes order in. Yes wllmc, I got the Fuji to try. And Royal, Oak Wood, a few other mild tobaccos just to see what they're like, Summer Clouds so I can see if it's floral or not.

I noticed they list "Amber" in regular flavors. I assume that's Liquid Amber. Anyone into fruits, tobacco, or highball-type-mixed-drinks ought to give it a try on their next order.

You're right, it was TFA Ripe Banana. I think I might add a touch of the nut mix to this batch. I've got FA Jamaican Rum, mixed up some Malibu at the same time I mixed the BNB. So good.

Got my order from PV and I rebottled in 6ml bottles. Sorry but those little 3mls drive me crazy :) I also received a few flavors from Flavor Jungle, they were on the list of approved FA resellers so what they heck, got my order fast too (10mls for 3.99). And not that I need more flavors, just order CAP vanilla custard V2 from Bull City Vapor (it's back in stock). Oh yeah....adding more flavors to my FA list....it's never ending I guess.

I've got mixing to do :)

Marshbunny, I'm a big fan of the Nut Mix. I'm really liking that one in a lot of flavors. I ordered the Walnut in the order I'm picking up tomorrow. Everyone had me curious.

HIC, if you come up with a use for Liquid Amber, I'm all eyes! I tried it just to try it and have no idea what to do with it since I'm not into fuity vapes without some kinda creams or pies thrown in. I remember it being light, but sharp, if that makes any sense.

I vaped it after 24hr rest. Yes I can taste the banana more.:rickroll:
I made 2 diff mixes
(1) 3% Banana, 1% Walnut, 1% Jamaican Rum, 0.5% Caramel, 0.5% Vienna Cream. I bumped yours from 2 to 3 % banana. Really good!:vapor:
(2) 2% banana .5% walnut. Not as good as above. Not as much banana taste. Will let it set another day before adjusting. Will vape above for a day.
I find nut mix and apple pie to strong crust wise. But I'm just getting taste back after stinkies. Walnut is mellow compared.

On Fuji...At 3% up From 2.5% has turned out good apple taste. Apple not candy. Going to mix it 50/50 with (1) and (2) above.

Anyone like Cantaloupe Melon (FA), I have the TFA one. Is the FA any good? Whats it like?

HIC how is that Fuji Apple? All apple flavors I have tried are just too weak and hard to mix to maintain any type of apple flavor.

O btw, eliquidmart carries Capella's Vanilla Custard V2 also, I asked them yesterday.

Thank you for the confirmation! When I find flavor surprises like that, I always wonder if it's due to chemistry or psychology. The concoction I was using it isn't really a recipe, just a stab at banana-nut-something. I thought Catalan Cream instead of Caramel and Vienna might be better. Plus something that would add a little bakery flavor. Tell us if it's good with that Fuji!

It's been nearly a year since I smoked a cig, and I agree with you that Nut Mix is stronger and sharper than Walnut. I don't like them standalone, but I've found a lot of uses for them. If you have Toronne, you might like Nut Mix with it (fruit optional). It's a pair I like a lot.

That Cantaloupe is very strong; a tiny bottle will last me forever. It's all ripe fruit, no rind, no 'green' in the flavor. Vaping it standalone is like falling into a vat of the stuff. I made a couple lame attempts at melon-y mixes with watermelon, kiwi, strawberry, honeydew (tfa?), and cantaloupe - but I decided I just don't like vaping those flavors. If you like vaping melon flavors, I think you'll love FA Cantaloupe, but start with fractions of a percent.

It'll be next week before I mix anything more. I have so many spice cookies to vape!

Awesome, yeah I never thought I'd like to vape cantaloupe, but I tried some a vape shop and really liked it. I'll add it to my next order list.
The cantaloupe and vanilla tahity may be pretty good together. I know I like cantaloupe with strawberry or cranberry.

I'm pretty much with you there, Huck. Fruits were the last flavors I got to play with. In fact, that's when I first posted about purevapes. I'm glad I got them, but I'm glad they're little 3ml bottles. heh. Since I got the VT nic, I'm liking fruity vapes a lot more. I've always liked citrus and fruit-cream-pie like you do, but now plain fruits are tasting right to me, too.

Liquid Amber I'm hoping to use for mixed drinks, especially something marg-like with the limey flavors I like in hot weather.
