oooh, I'm in trouble now.

I love my fancy coffees, whether in a cup or in a tank. Because Starbucks uses Torani flavorings, and those trace back to Italy, I ended up on Torani's website. They have hundreds of recipes there. 259 coffee recipes - whoa! Well, less than that if you ignore the sugar-free versions and ones with flavorings I don't like... Maybe only 150..uh-oh. I don't have that many bottles.

I can't help but translate from Torani syrups to FA flavorings as I read their recipes. Like this:

2 tbsp (1 oz) Torani Dark Chocolate Sauce = 2% FA Cocoa
1 tbsp (1/2 oz) Torani Cinnamon Vanilla Syrup = 0.25% FA Cinnamon Ceylon and 0.75% Vanilla Classic
1 tbsp (1/2 oz) Torani Cheesecake Syrup = 1% TFA Cheesecake Graham
1 cup (8oz) milk = 1% FA Fresh Cream
2 shots espresso = 0.5% FA Espresso

(Sorry I don't remember Torani's name for this one. It's some hot coffee recipe.)

It's easy to 'translate' them like that, and there are SO many recipes there.
Coffee fiends, check it out: Torani |

I considered getting the citrus mix if adding lemon to orange or mandarin doesn't bump up the flavor. I remember seeing your peach soda. Yums.

Sent from my stupid iPhone because I don't have an Android.
I've had citrus mix since my first order. Still have never tried it lol

Edit ok that's a lie I did put a drop on my finger and taste it

Mangosteen (Wonder how this tastes)

I'm not trying to be a smarta##, but it tastes exactly like mangosteen. If you have an Asian market nearby, it's worth a special trip to get a can of mangosteen. It's so tasty! All I use the flavoring for is mixing with other fruits, like Lychee. And you know how rarely I do fruits.. But the flavoring is right on.

Hope your order comes fast. No good to be without Vienna Cream and Rum! btw, if that's grape concord you got, don't expect a sweet American grape. Goes well with billberry, blackcurrant, and/or pom, but I can't handle that one standalone. I'm a fruit wimp.

K I finally got around to dipping into this DIY stuff!

I tried HIC's Tic Tac...AND it's awesome! Such a nice clean-refreshing vape!

And I tried "Lemon Cookie", I think I got this recipe somewhere on this thread, I'd credit if I could remember:( ... AND I love it!
3% Cookie
4% lemon Sicily
1% Vienna
1% cotton Candy

Thanks you guys for sharing your recipes, much appreciated! I think i'm going to dig this

HIC, is it o.k if I share some of your recipes on the Canada Vapers forum? of course giving credit to you!

Oh yeah. Coffees, teas, milkshakes, sodas..... oh my!

I know, right!! Those recipes are so easy to translate to flavorings. Every tbsp of Torani syrup = 1% of that FA flavor (when a match exists, and that's most of them). Their 4 oz of milk = 0.5% FA Fresh Cream. A single shot of Espresso = 0.25% FA Espresso. Knowing just that much is enough to create vape equivalents of about half those coffee recipes!

Then there are the Torani syrups that would need to be a recipe of their own. I'm working on Almond Roca right now. Yeah, I lasted a few hours before breaking down and mixing something. LOL! Gingerbread syrup is easy. If anyone wants a "sub-recipe" for one of their syrups that could go in coffees, I'm game to give it a shot.

Anyone can share anything I post anywhere, anytime. It would stroke my ego if you called it "HIC's whatever-recipe-name" but I won't have a fit if you leave off the HIC's.

P.S. You can also just link to my ecf blog: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/headinclouds/ All my recipes are there, except for clones.

Going to get the White Grape, split my order between to suppliers, since I need the PG/VG also. And may as well get the grapefruit also. Thinking a milky / creamy grapefruit may be pretty good.

TWICE-DIPPED ALMOND TOFFEE
(boldly sweet candy flavor: like dark chocolate Almond Roca with an extra layer of chocolate and almonds)
2.25% FA Cocoa
0.75% FA Caramel
0.75% FA Butterscotch
0.5% FA Marzipan
0.25% FA Almond

Caramel plus Butterscotch makes a toffee-like flavor; adding nuts makes it even more toffee. Marzipan is a sweetener here, so don't skip it if you want a candy flavor. You can use extra Marzipan in place of the Almond if you like maximum sweetness. FA Cocoa tastes great with all these sweets - best danged chocolate you can vape. I did make mine with Vapers Tec nic, so I'd especially like to know your impression if you make it with other nic (I would expect some notable throat hit from other nic with this much FA Cocoa).

I'm getting some pretty nice results from the Torani recipes: Torani |

The formula I'm using is very simple:
A shot of espresso = 0.25% Espresso.
8oz of milk = 1% Fresh Cream.
1 Tbsp (1/2 oz.) Torani syrup or sauce = 1% of the same flavor in FA flavorings, with a few exceptions so far (and there would be more)
1 Tbsp Torani White Chocolate Saue = 2% TFA White Chocolate (custard note warning here)
1 Tbsp Banana Puree Blend = 2% FA Banana
I'm using my own recipes for Amaretto, Almond Roca, Creme de Cacao - I think that's it so far
For Torani Shortbread, I used FA Cookie.
for Torani French Vanilla, half FA Vienna Cream and half FA Vanilla Classic

I'm liking Torani's recipes converted this way for Nutty Irish Woman Latte (who can resist that name), Shamrock Mocha, Hazelnut Decadence, a couple others. I wasn't happy with German Chocolate Mocha or Tuscan Afternoon Latte. Everything has been at least a solid starting point for a good vape. I've added a little caramel and/or rum and/or vienna to please myself. Any time I edge up to 6% flavoring, I just dilute it by half (not that it's tasting bad at that point, just my personal preference).

So - I recommend this easy source of recipes. Some of them could even be masterpieces with a little bit of experimentation and a good supply of flavors.

If anyone tries it and ends up stumped on how to duplicate a particular Torani syrup flavor, I think we could brainstorm an easy copy of most (all?) of them.

Your recipes are great==where can we can your clone recipes? Or are they dispersed among various posts?

They are sort of scattered around. It's not that I want them to be secret, just that I don't want to get in trouble. Some links:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e-liquid-recipes/421670-clone-recipes-32.html post 317 has Halo's Kringle's Curse

post 1404 in this thread (our purevapes thread) has Halo's Belgian Cocoa - though I'm thinking that one might have a touch of TFA Caramel Cappucci as well, just a tiny bit for the sweetness missing in the clone - and I do NOT claim credit for this one!

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...e-cloud-disposable-flings-vanilla-flavor.html

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e-liquid-recipes/421670-clone-recipes-39.html post 386 is White Cloud Flings disposable "Lime in the Coconut"

I think that's about it...but I have 2 others in the works from other companies ;)

p.s. - The Halo ones are pretty tasty, very good imitations in terms of flavor, color, and all that. When I actually use them, I dilute them by half, just like I did with Halo juice when I used to buy it. White Cloud's "Lime in the Coconut" is pretty tasty, but I'd skip their vanilla - just found it interesting that they use such a simple one. aaaand: usual disclaimer about some of the ingredients having 'custard notes'.
