HIC...keep us informed on the V2 custard when you get it please!!!! We are on vacation in Madeira Beach Florida and there is a frozen custard shop across the street at the John's Pass shopping center. I got a strawberry-banana custard in a waffle cone and it was freaking awesome! Would love recreate this! I dont think FA custard will do it but I am going to give it a try. Based on reviews...the V2 might work....that is, if it doesnt contain the notes.

I am not sure if banana is strong enough though. What ratio to strawberry do you think would give an equal flavor of both? Or do you think it is impossible?

I made a 1% Vienna Cream, 1% Strawberry, 2% Banana that gave me the taste of both. It's not an especially great recipe (I know that because I'm holding the bottle of leftovers in my hand to read the percents...didn't vape it all), but that 1:2 Strawberry:Banana ratio gave me balanced flavor.

Absolutely I'll comment on that Capella when I try it. Now put away the electronics and enjoy the beach, lol!

Ahhh - working out your standalone percentage. I know others like plain Cookie, but I can't stand it by itself. It does not taste like a cookie to me until I put it in a recipe. Quick - mix it with something to get the taste out of your mouth.

You're such a smart cookie. I had to use mint chip ice cream (the real stuff) to eliminate the taste. =)

Ooh, now there's an idea! Peanut butter oatmeal clusters. Some sort of peanut butter flavor, this oatmeal (if it's any good), and a chocolate. I LOVE my mom's recipe (for the real thing).

C'mon. I'm getting into DIY to SAVE money. :|
ooooooo oatmeal cookie (no raisins pls) would be awesome

Cookie on its own? I dunno. With Banana, it's my most vaped liquid by far!

5% Banana
1.5% Cookie
and a homeopathic amount of Marzipan!!

Yes, a very very small amount. I've tried adding various things to the basic BC - Walnut, Meringue, and most recently Marzipan. At 1% it took over, so I diluted the tank about 50:50 with regular BC and tried again. Still too much. I gave it up as a bad job, got through that tank, and have since been filling with just the basic BC. There would be less than 0.1% Marzipan left even if each fill had only halved it... it must be a fraction of that! I lost count of the fills. I do recall being annoyed at how long the Marzipan was taking to clear out. Then, at some point, it hit a magic quality - couldn't discern the Marzipan any more, but the BC was just utterly smooth and delicious. It's been like that for a few fills now, but is just starting to get back a little of the (very minor) harsh edge it had before.

I have no idea how to replicate this! A toothpick swirl maybe. The target _might_ be something like 1/10 of a drop in 10ml

YESSS - Who wants to chip in with me for a half-liter of Bread Crust? Ylang-ylang? anyone? lol!!

10ml vials of FA flavors are lasting me about a year. Maybe I have too many different flavors.

No such thing as too many flavors  At last count I have 209, 35 tobacco and 11 tobacco extractions. Yup, got another FA list being made. :)

I try all my flavors individually to see if I like them and at what percentage I prefer. It saves me time and money. Previously, I threw out too many mixes because of a few flavors that were yucky.

Oh, I did try it alone when I got it - not bad at all. But to my mind it needs something with it :)

Cumumber's fun - very refreshing. Cucumber, tomato, a grind of black pepper, maybe a squeeze of lime - that'd be a unique vape!

Yes! I like Cucumber! Tonight's test:

3% Cucumber
1.5% Black Pepper

I haven't dared try the Tomato yet, but this is gooood! Both are pretty mild flavours, and this is a pretty light vape, but there's a lot of nuance to the flavour. I could see myself vaping this quite often :D

Wow, you need some vinegar, salt, and oil to go with that one :)

Cucumber sounds like it might be good with mint? Or citrus?

vaping one day at a time

Not sure... it might sort of work with a very small amount of Peppermint, but neither of the FA mints is like garden mint - fresh and green (which would work really well, I think).

For citrus, perhaps a dash of lime as HIC suggested? I'd worry that that would end up a bit too 'watery' overall, but maybe with somethig like the Pepper to dry it down it would work well. (Largely personal taste though, I guess).
