Papaya, Saffron and Black Pepper are the only remaining FA flavors that I don't have but will probably get.

I don't have and don't plan to get vape Wizard, Bitter Wizard, Zen Garden, Oryental 4, Ozone, Reggae Night, "Flash" base, seafood and pizza-like 'brave' flavors, Black Fire, Cigar Passion, Perique, and most of the florals. Anything on that list I should reconsider?

Could have lived without: Oba Oba, Hypnotic Myst, Bergamot, Summer Clouds, Mad Fruit

Wish I'd never gotten: Bread Crust, Dark Vapure, CamBlend, Neroli.

It's definitely time for FA to make some new flavors! I've had good enough luck with FA flavors, I'd try about anything new.

Well, if you haven't actually tried Perique I think you should give it a chance. It is really dark but, to me, not that strong on the tobacco and has some nice fruity back notes.

Thanks! That one doesn't sound appealing to me, but I read a very old ecf post saying Black Fire with Almond tasted like Blue Diamond smoked almonds. Do you think that would be true?? I'd happily vape smoked almonds. I also read it's good with Apple Pie, so now I guess I'll have to try it.

Yes, I really don't get tobacco from Black Fire, for me it's just a smokey flavor. With VT nic you can actually pickup the caramel note that's in the description.

Edit: Cigar Passion, IMO, is really minty. Once it's steeped that is all I can taste from it. I'd call it peppermint but you would likely discern it differently. I mix other tobaccos with it to make a nice cigar.

Yes, "smoked" is a decent way to describe what Black Fire can do for flavors - it'd likely make a great smoked almond, or could be tweaked to smoke most anything. It has a wee-tiny-hint of caramel that really rounds it out. It's indispensable for tobaccos!

Pullet the trigger on some VT nic just now... Maybe soon I shall understand the <3 affair with some of the FA. Don't get me wrong I'm <3ing some of them already, but this nic I have while not the worst by far is ashy... Not so great in my fruits & creams. ;)

thumbs up! FA was already my most-used brand, but I didn't vape fruits much until I got VT nic. Now I enjoy plain fruits - they don't even need cream. Biggest change I noted: FA Cocoa. Wow!

I have more fruit than anything... But I have a few FA tabs and fresh cream/Catalan Cream/Vanilla Tahiti. Other than Coconut, Honey, and Lemon Sicily I can't get a lot of flavor out of them... So I'm hoping the VT nic will improve that!

Thanks DownInTn and We2! "Smoked" sounds great - smoked almonds, especially. Wish Wllmc was here with his roasted chicken!

I ordered Black Fire, Zen Garden, and both Wizards. I just have to know if Zen really is basil, and the Wizards will be tucked away for rainy day experiments. For under $2, what the heck - cheaper than most entertainment.

Still puffing on Cuban Supreme - with a touch of Burley - "Burley Cuban." CS with a little more vanilla was good, too - "Cuban Vanilla."

Cool recipe site: http://www.svapo.it/index.php?option=com_jreviews&url=ricette/ricette/ricette_c48/

It's an Italian site, in Italian, so turn on your Chrome auto-translate if you have it. (Preferences, Show Advanced, Languages, enable "offer to translate" and go to "manage.." to add Italian.) There are lots of FA recipes, some really unique ones, many using tobaccos (including the dreaded Dark Vapure). I've made some notes of ideas - wouldn't necessarily try them at the percentages I see on some.

I have found that a little rice heat to thin VG. Then a paint shaker whips its up better than 2-4 hrs in UC or CP. At 5000 shakes a min does more than CP or UC. Take it off shaker it is foamy. Better meld.
I use to use Dehydrator. Heat sucks on nic. causes pepper taste. Shake and meld is better. Period

What kind of paint shaker are you using anyway?

I don't have a paint shaker but I agree with no heat and simply shaking to get ingredients to blend

Hey,

I have Vapure, Latakia, Shade and RY4. Vapure and Latakia are way too strong for me, even at minute amounts. I'm putting in a new order. Any other good tobaccos knowing what I like/don't like with 'em? I know this is a hard question.

I'm an idiot. I just realized that I don't have Latakia. I have their Vapure and Perique, and those two are too strong for me.

Now that I have started making my own juices mostly with the recipes available here why is it that the vendor bought juices that I have seem to really taste pretty bad? Im getting chemical aftertastes from many of former favorite expensive juices. I just want to vape them away and never buy any of them anymore. Home made juices are so much better

Totally agree. I try a lot of different mixes but I usually vape some Dulce Fuego about every day. Thanks to we2 for sharing this recipe. I never cared much for tobacco vapes until Dulce Fuego.
I know you're not into tobaccos but, Dulce Fuego by we2rcool is a strange pleasant surprise. Maybe not for everyone I reckon, but still a very good vape.
I don't know if that's enough for you to reconsider Black Fire.

Isn't it awesome! You have your own vape-to-order gourmet chef - you! You can choose the best ingredients and customize everything. :)

I must admit I feel the same way. With the help of you guys in this forum I am now making juice I prefer over any vendor bought stuff. The vendor juice I still own is being gifted to my co-workers. They seem happy and I am very happy I don't have to vape the stuff.

To everyone here
Thank YOU

echo the thanks here to those who have contributed their recipes and DIY wisdom. I doubt whether I could come up with these great juices by simple trial and error. The cost savings is a big icing on the cake.

Same experience I had after starting DIY. Gave all my vendor juice to a coworker.

Adapted from the Italian site I mentioned a page ago. No author is listed to credit. It's a sweet, caramel/coconut coffee. MaxxBlend adds a flavorful sweetness you can't get with other FA flavors - it's NOT what I'd call a 'tobacco vape' at all. If you have these flavorings, you gotta try this just to see what a surprise it is!

Caramel-Coconut Coffee
4% FA MaxxBlend
2% FA Espresso
2% FA Coconut

It's not too strong for me even at this percent, but I'll try it half-strength later. Really great morning coffee!
