Yep, FA ought to add HIC on the payroll. He's definitely sent a lot of business their way. HIC got me started on the FA Espresso and I'm loving it. I've been looking for a good coffee vape for a long time and with the Espresso & Fresh Cream as a base there's infinite creative possibilities.

You guys crack me up! I'm glad to see more people using FA flavors - they didn't seem very popular compared to American ones, and I couldn't figure out why. Good selection of flavors, more concentrated than most, the best safety testing I know of, not hard to get.

Do you think it's just a lack of recipes using them? Maybe FA flavors seem too basic, like even chocolate-mint takes 2 different flavors. To me that's a bonus, because I can make it however I want, but needing lots of flavors for a recipe can be a little intimidating.

When I first tried FA I used 12-15%. Imagine what I thought of my 10% Espresso with 5% Cocoa. It took a while to get brave enough to try again. But when I made them at 2%, I was instantly hooked.

My only gripe is that they don't make non-PG versions. Oh, and a white chocolate flavor would be nice!

I think it's likely most mix them too strong and just pass it off as not liking them.

I was checking out a video review, it was from 2010, and the reviewer mixed Vanilla at 20% then came to the conclusion that she needed to go higher.

I've also read "FA is the hardest to work with" several times. That scares n00bs like me away :)

I just didn't hear ppl talking about them. I had no idea they were so concentrated. Early on I knew I wanted to work with the least amount of flavoring possiblle without sacrificing flavor. If I'm only working with 1%-3%, then I don't want to buy 10ml-30ml just to test it. So this is perfect!

Agree! I had a veteran DIYer tell me FA's Espresso & Tiramisu were "perfect" at 5%...so I bought 30ml and mixed up immediately. GAWHHHDawful...my mouth was parched and dry after just 2-3 puffs. The taste was right, but it took me hours for my mouth & taste-buddies to recover.

Somebody needs to start a brand new FA Percentage Thread (E-Cig flavors only), and retire this one: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/442635-flavor-art-single-percentages-list-updated.html ...somehow finding some vape-police to make sure no one that hadn't tried low percentages could recommend high percentages :)

Am I wrong to point out Wizard Labs here?

8mL flavorings of many vendors for $1.49.

All Flavors

(My only relationship with this company is as a well satisfied customer.)

wizard labs has TFA(the flavor apprentice) and other flavors. i have 50 varieties from WL TFA and am very happy with the results from what i have been able to sample thus far. they are mostly clear in color without added dyes. i got some good flavors from mad vapes diy. also clear of dyes. picked up a lorann sampler and frankly may never use them for ejuice. may flavor some cake or icing where the coloring would do some good and stay on the safe side.

take an ejuice like five pawns. is it really worth the extra money for a nice box, label and fancy bottle? presentation is half the battle. food service has known this a long time. i am not knocking 5P. their limited variety shows they are working to provide the best product they can devise. frankly, i wasn't that impressed and will clone castle long before long. at $1/ml plus shipping vs. $1/30ml no shipping. all i need is an oak barrel to make reserve.

experience and a good dripper atty will lead the way. i was amazed how good unflavored nic juice 50/50 can be. went to 70/30 base ratio for better wicking and high vg tends to give me a tummy ache. that is how i started. getting the base to suit me before adding any flavors.

they do seem basic. after trying them single first I kept thinking of recipes to start with . and it was all so simple in comparison to others I had made in the past. coffee and cream... and thats it !, how can this be ? irish cream .. and cream ... thats it ! watermelon and raspberry lol same thing. there is no need to go overboard and thats what i love most . but right at first its exactly what hoosier said. I couldnt grasp the idea that only really needed a couple percent of something and maybe just percent of something else. still when i look at them I think what all else does this really need but itself lol. luckily I had HIC and this thread in the beginning so i didnt do my usual 10-15% lol.

We had FA Tobacco testers sitting around, I was filling a tank with Virginia (2%) - when my eyes fell on the Latakia (1.5%)...so I filled 2/3 of the tank with the Virginia and topped it off with the Latakia. 'Shook it like crazy and vaped.

SERIOUSLY? This is crazy good! Called hubby - vape this tobacco mix! One hit and he was hooked.

Yeah, that's just crazy, I know...but we're both vaping it and the test bottles are almost empty.

WHAT FUN!

Nice! I'll try that for sure.

I was just sampling my second mix of Virginia. It still needs a few days to finish but first impressions are good. This time I did ~.3% Black Cherry and Tiramisu, the cherry flavor seems about the same as the first mix which I'm happy 'cause I like it :)

Yours sounds mighty good, too! The Latakia is a bit overwhelming initially; it seems to mellow out after a few days. It's not a typical 'tobacco' - it's really unique...so be sure you can 'get into' the smell before mixing it with other stuff (we'd hate to see you waste a tankful or freak out yer vape-taste-buds! )

man I want to so bad I just cant wrap my head around these flavors and what they are. I tried a good handful of vendor tobacco and never liked any. there were 2 that were good enough to vape every now and then. the johnson creek tennesee cured and then blu tobacco. pretty sure they make blu. anyways long story short after learning about them and blu and big tobacco I decided to stop using them. that being said Ive looked at the flavor profiles and man its all greek to me.then I go searching and its choas because every one kinda describes thing differently or I just flat out have no clue what Burley and Brightleaf tobacco are or what the heckflue-cured Cavendish is. so frustrating because I know most i wont like but those 2 I did and think I could make them better for my taste and really enjoy tobacco's. minutes away from growing my own pair and just ordering stuff lol.
I decided to grow a pair....

I just ordered; Burley, 7 Leaves Ultimate, Cigar Passion, Cowboy Blend, Desert Ship, Latakia, and Tuscan Reserve. :D

I hope that satisfies my tobacco curiosities...

Avoid the Dark Vapuke flavor at all cost. I'd send you the bottle I have triple-bagged in the garage freezer, but I'm afraid the post office would track me down. When it's not in the freezer, it's horribly smelly. It's actually waiting for our next trip to the hazardous waste facility, no kidding. Nightmare in a bottle, lol!

I could add it to the 250ml of it I have. Use it all the time.
