i am using one of puresmokers 4 holes and i am completely blown away by
the amount of vapour i get out of it. granted its only been a little over a week
now but it is producing as well this minute as it did on my first puff. i can't
stand to use my 2 hole anymore, feels like im suckin on a thick milkshake
and getting nothing out of it. i'll let you know in another week how its goin.

I am new to this e.smoking, even though I have had a few njoy's for a couple months. Last friday, after a day of trading on my computer, I counted 4 empty packs of kool's in my gc. I spent most all night reading these pages, watching Leaford, et al. and ordering some additional units. I received my first mini, and pen style from Steve today. Thanks god, I received some juice, cause, WOW, whata difference.

Steve seems to be GREAT to deal with-Thanks.

Guy's, do you use cigars to get more smoke?

okay I went to order an original pure smoker black with blue led...the site only shows white available. Is that correct?

Hi Kimmie,

I still have a few left, until my large next shipment comes in early next week! If you are truly interested, I will hold 1 back especially for you. Just shoot me a PM and let me know when you are ready to order!

Have a great evening everyone!

u dont get more smoke from electric cigars.. real ones yes.. electric ones no.. the shape or size dosnt effect the way the device works.. people assume it will but in reality it doesnt..

a small generic mini will produce more smoke than the average e cigar.. the weak spot is the batteries used to power these high current draw devices.. apart from e pipes none of them have a large enough capacity for the purpose they are being used for..

Hello all! This is my first post so go easy on me. I've been a lurker for awhile but this topic happened to kinda speak to me so here's my comment.

I've been e-smoking for a little over a week now. I started off with a PureSmoker DSE-901b and then purchased one of the 4-hole pen style. (Thanks Steve!)

In my experience with those two items, the 4 hole pen is head and shoulders above the 901. As far as the draw, the 901 from PureSmoker which is highly acclaimed in these forums, actually has a lighter draw (more air in the mixture) than the 4 hole pen style. The draw on the pen style is more smooth. I guess the personal opinion would be you get more vapor for less work with the 4 hole. It has a nice "heavy" feel when you hold it, it feels like it is just a higher quality instrument than the 901, and the 901 doesn't feel cheap.

Although I could understand how someone may have had the experience of "smoking air" with other 4 hole pen style. However, after trying it, I am coming down on the side with Steve to say that this one may be different. I have never tried a different pen style, but if there is one out there that feels like smoking air, I can guaranty it's not this one.

Just my two cents...

Well Leaford I must say you have done really well to get five weeks. Let's hope you will continue to get this sort of mileage out of them.

The worst for me has been theJanty ones which tend to be fantastic for the first week and by the end of the second week not great at all so then they get sent into the post but I never let them go dry and I am always topping my cartridges.

I only ever used J. C. once but I found I thought it made the atomiser sizzle more than normal and felt that it had cleaned it rather than block it but I didn't use it for long because it didn't agree to my tastes.

I have been using Janty atomizers for 2 months and none have failed although one doesn't put out as much as I would like so it is retired. As Leford said, the 4 hole atomizers empty of fluid faster than the cart can deliver. This meens you have to either drip into the atomizer and reinsert the cart or change atomizers. I do both. Always carry an extra atomizer loaded with a cart and change out occasionally throughout the day. You will be much more satisfied with the results. Also, if you are using the manual switch, it doesn't tell you when the battery is low. Smoke production just slowly goes down. So, always carry and extra battery (I carry two). If changing the atomizer doesn't work, it is time for a new battery.

what people dont realize with these things is the batteries wear out quickly.. pen styles are better than the smaller minis.. but they all wear out quickly given heavy all day and every day use..

with each recharge the run time gets less.. these things have a 150 mah capacity lithium battery powering em.. they can be in use all day and very day..

they are mini heaters.. the current draw can be close to 1000 ma.. this is 6 x the capacity of a new battery.. nothing else on the planet does this to lithium batteries.. its battery abuse.. they wont stand it for long..

when discharged at a sensible rate (say at most 1 x the capacity) a lithium battery can have a 500 charge/discharge life cycle.. it can last for years..

when abused and discharged at 6 x the capacity the 500 c/d life cycle can be as low as 20.. in fact using the normal 80% of original capacity figure as the end of life cycle measure 5 would be more accurate..

they die at an alarming rate..

Hi, newbie here, just starting but very interested in quiting real ones.

Trog: the comment you make about batteries is the same regardless of the type of e-cig ? I mean, same for mini, super mini, pen style, cigar, pipe (I understand they all use different ones).

I just received a mini from heaven gifts (unfortunatelly one of the batts. was DOA, so Im with only one, which is very difficult), anyway the one I have dies after around 4 hours.

Regards,
Jorge.

they are all the same except the pen style which might be a little larger.. i only say this cos the tube is longer but it might have the same little 08400 the others have.. i have never cut up a pen stlye battery..

DOA mini ones seem quite common.. we have had quite a few.. they have an actual run time of around ten minutes when new.. assume each puff is say five seconds divide the amount of puffs into the real ten minute run time.. this will give u an idea how long one will last u on a charge.. we get two hours use out of the current mini ones.. this is when new..

trog

ps.. they all draw roughly the same current.. mini is 130 mah.. cigar is 300 mah.. pipe is 900 mah.. the pipe is the only one truely up to the job it has to do given regular every day use..

Thanks for the explanation Trog, very interesting.

Does anyone here uses the pipe (I mean as a cigarette, aspiring) anyone can reccomend a good one (hopefully not to expensive) I guess one will need a couple of them. I actually don`t dislike the idea of using a pipe if it really works better (could use it at home and office and Pen or Mini when outside).

Thanks to all,
Jorge.

First let me say that Cash is great to work with. I got a 4-hole atomizer, penstyle from him about a month ago. It worked great til just last week. I hadn't noticed any problem with vapor production, so I hadn't even bothered to clean the atomizer yet.

Then I started having problems. Couldn't quite put my finger on the exact problem though. It was like I was having battery problems instead of the usual atomizer problems. Battery started acting funky, blinking a lot and seemed to not hold a charge.

Steve sent me a 2-hole atomizer to try to figure out what's going on. The 2-hole atomizer works with no problem with my original batteries. When I placed my original order, I ordered 4 extra atomizers. I tried a fresh 4-hole atomizer with my original battery and it doesn't work nearly as well as the 2-hole atomizer does. I ain't no electronics expert, in fact I don't understand it, but it seems to me that the 4-hole atomizers are just too demanding on the battery.

I think I'm gonna ask Steve if he has any more 2-hole atomizers that I can swap for my 4-hole atomizers.
