Nico, Dovelove is/was referring to me. She is and has been accusing me as being a "fake". Since I have not bashed PS for anything, and only complimented them for their product and service, she assumed that I am a "fake newbie" and wont get off it.

Oh well.

T6-Welcome to the forum, we are glad you are here! Don't sweat it, you know what the assuming makes one, and feel free to continue posting your positive comments on ANY thread where the OP is making such unfounded, derogatory statements against a supplier who you know is as honest as they come.

Bizzy-you may want to go back and read the older posts...say before Feb of this year and you will notice this kind of thing rarely, if ever happened. You may want to start noticing the date folks joined, not the mega post count collectors to see what a great forum it was. I am so thankful that some original members are still around, but can't blame the ones who left.

Are we going to go through this again with the language bizzy? But this is Steve's forum so he can do what he wants with it. But as a mod, I'm reporting it.

Lu
Whoa, we can't swear here? Good to know, especially since I see bizzy is now banned. I kind of glossed over this in the forum rules
forum rules said:
Please don't use offensive language. Some people really hate it, and this forum is for everyone.
I haven't broken this rule, but I might have if I hadn't gotten this heads up...

Wow this is unbelievable complaining about what a supplier does with THEIR sub-forum and as far as I can see and you can too by looking at why the threads were removed(at least I know I read it right below where the person who deleted it is the reason) is that almost every time with the exception of 1 I've seen in recent time is because the issue in question in the thread was taken care of. The way I see it there was a problem it was taken care of hence no reason for the thread anymore. I'm not a fan boy by any means I've only ordered from PureSmoker once. Why should a thread go on after a problem has been solved it seems like common sense to me unless you're the kind of person that likes to stir up drama.

You know, Dstruct and Dovelove both have valid points.

The facts are that suppliers do have moderator rights because they pay and if they chose to edit or delete psots from their sub-forums, it's in the opinion of many members not right and shady looking.

I have seen other suppliers do the same thing.

If it becomes a big issue among all the members, then it is something that the founders of this forum must find a solution to.

In the meantime, if a member wants to rant on a supplier with out their posts being edited or deleted by one of the many suppliers on the forum, then we have no choice but to start a thread other than their sub-forum. There is just no way around this for the moment unless a supplier agrees not to delete/edit posts. Although their sub-forum may be the right place to post, it is at the mercy of the supplier and at this moment, their right, again, unless there is enough complaints from members that the forum founders will have to address it one way or another.

I started a rant on ePuffer and it's still going on unedited and nothing deleted. Over 3,000 views and boy oh boy, there is alot of ranting going on over there.

Just my thoughts.

Honestly It's just stupid that this thread was even started when the OP should have brought this up in this thread that already addressed the issue.

It's not negative threads that are being deleted its FLAMING that is being deleted and or issues that have been resolved. Just look on the 1st and 2nd page of this sub forum and you will see plenty of negative threads.

Hello Fellow Vapers,

We are seeing a increasing amount of complaints and issues being addressed on this forum. Last Week we hired a new Customer Service Representative (Ms. Casey) to handle all issues via email: Info@puresmoker.com

***Issues Are no longer being handled via this sub-forum***
You can still PM Joanna and I for any assistance that hasn't been responded to within 2 days of email ticket delivery. This shouldn't be a problem because we have a dedicated person for the job.

We do apologize for any delays in previous responses via email, but we are practically caught up now so responses will be much quicker from now on.

I will be keeping up with the threads from now on and will also delete any threads regarding flaming and customer orders. The Sub-Forum is great for Newbie's to learn about our Products and for all the fun Reviews, but it is not for a company email system.

We truly appreciate those who have stuck with us during the growing pains and we are striving everyday to make our Customers happy.

Once again our email address is info@puresmoker.com which will handle all your needs and concerns.

Thanks again for choosing PureSmoker.com as your E-cig Supplier!
-Daniel

True True,

I remember reading that

Hey Max, You are one of my old (other) forum buddies and don't think I'm directing that at you or anything its just that this thread is misleading to people that just happen to run across it. This thread was made two days after Daniel explained the reasons for deleting them and witch is pretty much a moot point anyway because they pay for this and they can run it as they see fit. I don't know if the OP missed the sticky (I know I don't pay attention to them too often) but you would think so after reading his first post.

btw: I never did get a chance to read your kissbox review. I need to do that since we usually seem to agree on everything :thumb:

They pay for the right to have this space to use for customer updates and advertising.

If you want to bash the company, do it outside their forums. There are plenty of other places to vent here.

I think this is fair enough, they pay for the space therefore it belongs to them.
However and just for the record... being a relative newbie, I was looking in this sub-forum for consumer feedback and had no idea the vendors were filtering the content.
Just a suggestion, but it may be constructive to make that a perm sticky at the top of all the vendor sub-forums. I had no idea I was reading censored content.

Really, just a constructive comment, nothing negative intended.

Peace

I agree too! I don't have the power to give out reprimands or delete post, why should other suppliers?

As you shouldn't Delite ... Lets not forget, you tried to pretend to be a member spamming everywhere on Delite before you became a supplier ;)... I have never once done so...

Every Subforum that a Supplier Runs, is modded by that supplier. I just happen to mod the entire forum ... BUT, and this is a very strong but ... I am fair and impartial when it comes to my duties. If you can find me a instance at which time I was not *Fair and Impartial* I would certainly be amazed ...

I very rarely post in regard to forum politics etc etc , and as I am a Aussie, have never ordered from Puresmoker and probably never will, However I think there are a few salient facts that need to be brought up here.
IMO The puresmoker sub-forum is just that , It is Puresmokers to do with as they wish , it is a paid for service that is attached and integral to ECF.
I applaud ANY supplier that has the balls to have an open debate about their products and services here , it provides a disgruntled customer an avenue for ranting they usually wouldnt get . Instead of pursuing normal channels of inquiry with a supplier, some choose to hop on the forums and blast away. To the best of my knowledge there are hardly any criticisms levelled at Puresmoker or Steve that arent resolved quickly and usually to the customers benefit, rather than Puresmokers pockets.
I have spent a hell of a lot of time on these forums and in all that time have NEVER seen the slightest example of Steve using his power as a moderator for the benefit of himself or his company , in fact quite the opposite, he takes a lot of flack and deals with it with the tact and graciousness not often seen very much these days.

In short I think Puresmoker has ALL the rights in the world to delete threads where problems have been sorted out to the benefit of all , or where there is deliberate unfounded flaming... In my opinion Puresmoker as a company demonstrates clear concise customer service ( and recently under very trying times) and Steve, Joanna, Daniel and family are the sort of retailers that set benchmarks for others to follow.
Like I said I am NOT a customer of theirs, but many of my forum friends are, and If I actually lived in the U.S. they would be my first port of call when purchasing .
I admire integrity and grace under fire.... two qualities very evident in how Puresmoker conducts their business and most importantly how Steve carries out his Moderator role.

Lastly I do not think Moderators should be chosen from suppliers, but chosen is the operative word, Steve was a fair and effective mod well before the concept of Puresmoker was born, as such he has proven his role and continues to prove it every day.

( so I guess this makes me a puresmoker fanboy? If so thats ok , because its ok to admire honesty transparency and someone who truly cares about the cause and our community)

I think that the fact that this thread has not been deleted is pretty solid evidence that the accusation that started it is bogus.

Call me a fan boy if you want I've been very pleased wth my interactions with PureSmoker and I say this as a guy who broke down and ordered from the competition because I was down to one working battery and Cash's stock was tied up in Customs.

All of my orders have been complete and timely (admittedly not as timely since the move but I understand things are haywire right now)

Something everyone needs to understand right now is that the U.S market is a mess and it's mostly the fault of the FDA and the manufacturers for not working out the regulatory issues. And for the time being we all need to adjust our expectations to reflect the current reality.

People like Steve are under tremedous pressure right now this is their livelyhood that's under attack and in many cases they also have employeers relying upon them to pay their bills. And the current economic conditions there are few options for those people if this all falls apart.

So a little patience and forberance is in order. Because in addition to trying to feed our ravenous desire for product I'm certain they are also in communications with lawyers and other suppliers on how to win the regulatory battle that's currently being engaged.

For the time being I plan on taking my own advise and being patient and understanding of the difficulties and continuing to support them by buying products from those I'm pleased with.

Here's today's order ;-)

Items Ordered: Price: Status:
3 of : Cash Tasteless Eliquid (No Flavor/Only Base) - 50ml - Fierce (36mg) $98.97 Processing
1 of : Energee - 10ml - Super Low (4mg)
$10.99 Processing
1 of : French Vanilla - 30ml - Super Low (4mg)
$21.99 Processing
2 of : Riskee Yuice! - 30ml - Fierce (36mg)
$43.98 Processing
1 of : Stalker Pina Colada - 50ml - Fierce (36mg)
$32.99 Processing
1 of : Wild Strawberry - 30ml - Fierce (36mg)
$21.99 Processing

Yeah I'm stocking up.
