Sorry if you thought I had one already made :D ....

I was at work today, stealth vaping at my my PV under my desk as usual  and it got me thinking. If I had asthma and I puffed on an inhaler that blew out smoke nobody would care.

Anyone modded their PV to fit inside a medical inhaler? :thumb:
When someone approached me in an aggressive manor asking me if I was smoking cigarettes I told them that I was using a nebulizer for my asthma.
They retreated sheepishly after I told them that.
I plan on using that tact with my Juice Box and plan on customizing it with stickers or labels from a reputable nebulizer manufacturer such as Mavis.

I am gonna make one of these,, I have seen the pictures on the ddr site and i think I can do it! in the natual blue of my ventolin inhaler,,,,

I will be able to fit a 501 or dse103 or even a SKE8084 atty in the mouth piece...

and battery 3.7v icr18350 in the empty ventolin cannister,
I will also trying to not fit the switch on the outside as on the ddr site ..
I will try to incorperate the switch so that when you depress the cannister as you would for medicine it would activate the switch..atty

It will take me a few days to get the bits together but it will happen

No I am not that gorgeous person in the picture/wrong lippy colour

Marlboro man!!! You're going to beat me to it 8-o

Anyways - I was actually thinking of using this inhaler:

proventil2.jpg

I would place the switch on the circle on the bottom area.

I was thinking of using kr8 cartos with 1 cr2 800mah battery ... maybe 5v if there is space.

Did you think of a solution how of to use the mouthpiece? It would have to be vaccum sealed from the battery, right?

Now that I have a 6v flashlight mod under my belt ... this is going to be my next project. I want to keep it looking like an inhaler as much as possible (including the inhaler cartridge).

Its ok if you want to call me crazy =)

I have an e-cigar, that being said you got me thinking. The e-cigar has a very large cartidge and the atomizer is also quite large. I would very much have a modded device that uses those carts & atomizers. I have scanned the forums looking for a device like this with no luck. I would think that with the more powerful volts it would be a natural that we all would also want the e-cigars base components so we wouldn't have to keep refilling then all the time. An 801 (the biggest size now on all the mods) can take around 12 to 15 drops in a brand new cart. My e-cagar can take over 30 drops and sometimes I can put in just under 40! I have no idea how to make such a mod. I will send this idea to all the mod makers because I don't want to spend anymore on a mod before I see if someone can make one like this. Good luck with this!

Marlboro - Do you usually start with schematics or do you just build as you go?

Hi goonie

I'm dragging my feet a bit on this one, I have loads of the blue inhalors small and large, don't know where to start, yet...

I dont think I need a schematic with this as the principle is the same as any mod-box

I thought, the first one, I will take moulds ( caulking silicone) or glazing putty of the mouth piece first,, to make the base plate for atomiser, then I will work out the cannister part for the battery, inc. inc, switch, so really it's gonna be a suck it 'n' see??

I will be cutting the 1st one longways ( just to see where I can reinforce etc) in cross section, the full length of the moulded plastic

as soon as I get going, I will PM you with pic's

I have seen one of these made just cant remember where. But here is one that would be cool Cambridge Consultants - Cambridge Consultants brings the 'connected patient' concept to life also this is the one I saw that was modded http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:...estandard/drugtopics/182008/514079/advair.jpg wow that is long I just think these would be better to mod. Danno

Hi digidan

Thanks for the idea :)

I have one of these also

http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:2...079/advair.jpg
