Really? That's all I noticed when I first got here....lol

I have much to learn it seems! :p

That's fantastic! Good work on finding all of these :)

I do remember seeing some people in threads saying things along the line of "just get a provari", etc but to be fair, before i started buying any mods and before i joined this forum i read some reviews and had a look at the various devices available i came to the conclusion that i would eventually end up with a provari (in fact i may have even mentioned this in my first couple of posts).

Highly amusing how badly this all seems to have got to some people though

Personally, I think it must be a solid product that owners will recommend because it's so solid and other people just get tired of hearing it so they them "fanboys". Then, on the other hand, there are people who are being too sensitive about the term because in the end, they STILL have the solid device that they're happy with so it shouldn't matter what other people say.

When you REALLY look it even more closely you'll find that there are probably more people advocating for VAMOs....lol

Frankly, I think it should all be taken as lightly and with as much humor as possible because hell, it's just the internet and people say stupid crap anonymously from behind their monitors for whatever reasons. H8ers gonna h8 and all. Just laugh it off and enjoy your device.

It isn't a serious issue, you know? Who CARES what other people think? :D

Sensible heads realize it's not a serious issue but for the most part, when ProVari is mentioned people want to loose their rabbit ... mind.

If I am a fan....so what? I don't let the fanboy/girl nonsense rub me the wrong way.
I paid $200+ to be a fan.

I just paid for a quality device...lol That's the whole reason. I wanted reliability and something the company who makes it backs up conscientiously.

The whole "fan" thing had nothing to do with it.

But I still think it's funny. :D

These things are bound to happen when you look at how many people use ECF. If anything, i'm surpised that there seems to be no real aggro over anything on here. The mods must do a decent job.

Actually, it's probably provaris that mean ECF is such a decent place to chat, if anyone gets threatened with the boot or makes too much of a pain in the ... of themselves, i shall of course assume its on account of them not having a provari ;)

And that's the point I was making.

I bought it with the thought I wanted something of quality, has a marvelous warranty and should anything happen once the warranty is over, I'm not going to be S.O.L.....ProVape takes care of it's own......well, if that makes one a fan then oh well!

The first time I heard of a ProVari wasn't even here on ECF
Every time I Youtube'd a device, it seemed every reviewer was using a ProVari and the way they were talking, the ProVari IS the gold standard.

If I had known then what I know now, my 1st would've been a ProVari and when my friends ask me what should they get I always point them in the Kanger EVOD kit- fans wouldn't do that.

and then there are the noobs, like me, who find ECF and read, consider the options and go from Blu to Provari. I decided that if this was what I was going to really want in the end, I should save money by skipping the interim step(s) and just buy it. It was also a reflection of the commitment I was making to go smoke free. I'm very happy, but completely agree that this isn't the right path for most.

I am an unapologetic fan. Yet, I point noobs to the Twist/Evod combo...

Establishing trust is the first step to 'processing' new recruits.

Tapped out

I honestly didn't know the first thing about vaping when I went to the store. I only knew my friend bought one from someone at work and it was keeping her from smoking (for the most part). I just figured since I had a little money I'd try it, not even planning to quit cigs. Day two and I figured it was a waste of money because of juice flavor, but not because of the Spinner I bought. That's an excellent first device for a beginner and I'll recommend it again. Day three I decided to try it again and it stuck, mostly thanks to what I read about vaper's tongue. I WANTED to have it as I hoped it would keep me from worrying about the juice thing...lol Vaped up a storm and got used to the juice.

Heck, I've only been HERE for three weeks and vaping for only a couple of days before that....lol

But then, I'm a VERY fast learner when I want to know something and I have mad research skillz, yo.

Hey, I was one of those who poked at the Provarinattis, mostly because I couldn't afford one. And the way they (well me now too) gushed!

I almost bought a Zmax Mini!!! Saw one in a B&M, it fit my budget, but they also had a Provari Mini. Holding them side by side, the choice seemed obvious, but still, I couldn't afford it. But I NEEDED to upgrade. NEEDED TO.

The Vaping Gods looked down upon me and on the very next morning I found a used Provari Mini on Craigslist with batteries and charger for the same price as the new Zmax. I jumped at it. Made a cash deal in a dark parking lot at 10:30 at night! That's how bad I wanted it.

Would I have enjoyed the Zmax? Probably would have. But in getting the Provari Mini, I know I made the better choice, even if this baby is scratched and a bit dull. Hey, I'm 54, I am a bit scratched and dull too.

What I am doing now is to suggest a Provari where it is appropriate, and try not to feed the trolls who hate. I almost got embroiled in a kerfluffle a couple of days ago on here, but just backed off. The guy was a jerk and was baiting me. I think the mods pulled his posts, and my replies. Good!

I'm really happy for all of us. We vape good. So do others with other gear. I'm happy for them too. (I admit it, I do snicker every time I read of stripped threads on other mods)
