Ok so my SR dual coil cartos doesn't seem to actually cut with my vtube mod, I'm getting a good amount of vapor but I can't tell the difference between vaping at 3.7 or 6 v.

On my 3.7v provape 1 I get some good vapor, not as much as with LR cartos.

So my question is, With which kind of mod dual coil cartos at SR do better?

That's because you are bumping up to close to the amp limit, if the resistance of the carto is off even just a little bit the Vtube will switch to default voltage. That SR carto will be more consistant around the 5-5.5v mark.
You really need a mod with a 3amp or higher limit to get great performance out of a DCC. Thats why you see all the rush by manufactures to come out with new versions with higher amp limits.
With many mods you will actually get better performance out of a single coil than you will a dual coil, because the amp/wattage required is cut in half.

TJ is right. The ability to deliver voltage is limited by the battery and the mod's ability to maintain current flow at voltage. If you are using a linear mod and not a PWM (pulse wave modulation) device, you can stick and inline digital voltmeter between the PV and the atomizer and see what's going on. Some are current limited and others just can't keep up because the battery isn't up to the task.

For 6 volt vaping, use a 3 ohm coil. A dual coil is too much load for your mod. Vape it at 3.7v.

From what I've seen the Vmax might be the right mod for you. It's a somewhat over powered device for single coil LR stuff, but for dual coils with a 5 amp limit you can really drive those coils (You have to remember a LR dual coils is actually 2 x 3 ohm coils, and most people power their single 3 ohm coils in the 5V range). No clue what to power it on a vmax, but in terms of power, it's probably got the most out there. Haven't used one, but there are a lot of people who have, I'd pop into some vmax threads and ask around in there.

I have heard of the Vmax threads stripping and the device having a bad habit of powering down...Why not try a box mod... Here is a link to his thread...http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modder-accessories-supplier-forum/303375-hand-made-exotic-wood-box-mods-bull-box-mods.html
