Question about the black Provari

Its actually a cerakote and is amazingly durable. Its like powder coating but its ceramic thats baked on. Its what is used on firearms and such. I have had mine for about 3 months and with everyday heavy use there are no scratched on it that I can see.

Keep saving cause you will love it!

Got my pink 2.5 mini today ( you can see pics in thread in Provari if you want) I hope mine in three months is scratch free

Well here's a answer from someone that's had a Black Provari mini since day 1 of release. I pocket carry it daily. The finish will wear off. Now if you baby it & leave it for home use only or use a sleeve or j wrap the finish will be fine. Best way to describe it would be more like if you've ever seen a blued handgun with a ton of holster wear. That's what the finish will do. IMO that's not a bad thing, adds character & just shows that you use your tools.
