I was an early adopter of the V1, and I actually have two of them (one is a 1.1 I think) I love them when they work. I went through numerous resitored switches, and purchased the mechanical switches when they were available. The mechanical switches are certainly better the the original resitored ones, but even with the mechanical switches I fail to get consistantly reliable firing. I generally need to fiddle with the switches quite often.

Last night I placed an order for the V3. I am assuming that the bottom switch is 100 % reliable all the time.

Can anyone who has a V3 comment?

I love PS and there products have been the best I've tried...I'm just hoping for 100% fiddle free ignition with the V3

I've got a V3. It works great. The only thing you have to do, it clean the bottom contact every so often. It's very easy. I also went to home depot and got a little box of various sized springs to replace the spring that came with the unit. The two springs that come with it, are either too soft or too hard. Kind of like the three bears. The one I got is just right.

Also, the new screws are nickle plated, so they aren't prone to oxidation. I haven't used Noalox on my contact screw in a week or two and haven't had any problems at all. I still break mine down weekly and clean it just because it's a good habit to have and it's super easy to do. But both of my V3s and my Icon have been 100% reliable.

I just got my V3 today, I been posting that I was going to order one. So far I love it it works great. Only problem is that it's quite big, I show it to friends and family when I get it and they flipped out on the size of it. I did as well, the size of it is kind of uncomfortable. Obvious reason for it though fits big batteries. I'm still trying to decide on if I want to keep it or not. Kind of a downer because I really wanted a 3.7/6v mod. Guess if I want that I have to have the size as well. Idk if I do anything it would be a switch to the icon, or kept this one and got an icon when I have more money to throw around.

Just to let you know I've owned just about every mod out there and the V3 is one of the smallest 3.7/6 volt mods.

Yep, It is small for a 6v mod. May be v-3 for home vaping, and Icon for out and about?

I'm enjoying it so much that it doesn't bother me. When I first went from a tobacco cig. the 510 seemed a bit large, later, the eGo seemed large compared to a 510. Now the eGo looks tiny to me.

I guess it is all in what you get use to. (go smoke a big cigar, and the V3 will seem small!!!) Lol!!!

Honestly I clean my v3 MAYBE once a month, this thing is a champ AND here's a treat, dunno if this works for normal atties cuz I use 510 cartomizers. If you overfill your cartomizers to where it leaks into the troft, do not wipe it up! Continue vaping as usual and the juice will go back up into the carto and you won't waste any juice wiping it away

It works for normal 510 atties too. It's one of the many V3's features that I love.
