Hello,
I have a friend that wants me to get her first kit and ejuice. She currently smokes camels. Two packs a day. I never vaped tobacco flavored juice, fruit and sweets only for me. What do u suggest for first time vapping? Should I get her something similar to camel flavor? Are any of the Chinese tobacco flavors any good? I want to be sure she enjoys vaping to keep her off analogs.

Thanks

Why dont you have her try some of your flavors if she likes it, she likes it if she says she wants it to taste more like a real cig then iv seen pleantly of camel flavored e juice on different vendors. I think that would be the best place to start as far as the juice goes. As far as the kit goes you will have to ask her if she wants the look and feel of a cig-a-like or if she would mind something larger for more functionality.

Hi Sweetpain, and kudos for helping your friend to get off the stinkies. Check your regular juice vendors; most of them offer sampler packs of juices. This will give your friend a chance to try lots of different juices. By all means get some "camel" tobacco flavors, but warn her that NO e-juice will exactly duplicate the taste of a burning cigarette, since some of that flavor depends on the combustion factor. I'd also include a selection of non-tobacco flavors, since many vapers find that's what they end up preferring.

You would also be doing her a favor to let her know it may take a while to find the flavor(s) she prefers. (I've got a drawer full of sample bottles of juices I thought I'd like but didn't!) Just encourage her not to give up!

Good luck!

I've been vaping for almost three months and have using "Desert Ship", a supposedly Camel cigarette flavor, from day 1. I didn't ever smoke Camels but this is the most pleasant tobacco flavor that I've found. I've tried several tobacco flavors and always go back to Desert Ship. I've tried some tobacco flavors that were so bad that if I had tried them first I'd probably still be smoking real cigarettes so be sure and try more than one kind as I'm sure there's something out there that will work for her.

I'm on day 11 of no smoking and started with Halo G6. I know, I know, but it works for me right now. One thing I did was order a starter kit with pre-filled cartos. That way I could just jump right in and not worry about steeping and figuring out all the other stuff. I also ordered a pack of blank cartos and the tobacco sample pack. I went through three blu disposables first and actually smiled when I had my first vape of Torque56 and realized what was possible with vaping.
So that's a long way of recommending Torque as a first vape for a smoker.
I'm coming off Winstons and while it of course doesn't taste like a cigarette it's getting me through my need for one. I tried Halo's turkish after steeping a week and didn't like it so much, but maybe a camel smoker would pick up something in that flavor that they liked. good luck!

I was going to suggest as well, let her try some of your flavors. If she doesn't like them... then see if you have a shop that allows you to taste their juices. Vape On and Cloud 9 do. I am sure there are others. If I knew your location I could do a search and try and come up with an idea as to where you could take them to try out several varieties.

I'll chime in just to reinforce that no e-liquid will ever taste like a cigarette.

Sampler packs from vendors that offer them are the best way to find flavors, aside from visiting a B & M that allows tasting of flavors. As some people have been suggesting particular vendors that offer them, I'll add two more. Virgin Vapor and Vaperite.

Variety is the spice to life. Get 2 - 3 tobacco flavors, but also get some candy and fruit, even a coffee flavor for your friend to try out.

+1. The wife loves this with 1% cotton candy added. Five months her favorite till this last week. Now she's vaping a local RY4, and says it's her favorite. Personally, I'm a Danish and Fruit guy. Vaping is so subjective, it's very difficult to recommend specific juices, though specific sources, like Mount Baker Vapor, among others are good, imho.

+1 on the tobacco sampler packs. Got my first one from myfreedomsmokes.com. My wife liked the desert ship flavor and the RY4 from that sampler pack.

+1. I'll just add that for some, not finding that smoke flavor "just like what I used to smoke" can be a turn off...expectations and so forth. I've seen it almost easier to adjust to vaping by going in a different direction like fruits, etc.

Good luck on the "Project" and thanks for sharing your story.

I'm in kinda the same boat. I actually really like the blu tobacco from the cartos in the rechargeable kit, but have an eroll so I'm looking for a good consistent all day juice. I ordered a nitelightvapor caramel reef tobacco thinking it would have a little sweetness like the blu. Its almost like pure caramel, super sweet. Same with dekang fire cured. It has a pure sugar/chemical aftertaste so it may just be a waste of a bottle.
I've been using flavorz by Joe ill nilla, which is pretty good by itself, but mixing it with some local peach juice has been doing OK for me until I find something I really like.
