I don't think the government should be allowed to ban smoking in any situation. However, I have no problem with private businesses choosing to ban smoking/vaping on their property.
All I know is that I have a PV and a camera so if I get into trouble over vaping someplace one day I can share.

About all I can say is that it's better than nothing.Would you Consider an On Campus Ban with a Parking Lot/In Car Exception to be a Viable Compromise?

So what happens if you Own a Restaurant and post a Bunch of No e-Cigarette signs. Even print it on the Menu.
But I decide that I want to try out my new Sub-Ohm Coil and start Blowing Huge Clouds at my table? And when asked to stop, I tell you that it Isn't Against the Law.
The proprietor can probably consider you a trespasser and either call the police or remove you by force. People are funny about getting to dictate the rules on their own property. So what happens if you Own a Restaurant and post a Bunch of No e-Cigarette signs. Even print it on the Menu.

I'd remind you this is a private establishment and that I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and if you don't stop it I'll call the cops.
Doesn't matter if there's a law or not, I can choose to ban ecigs in my restaurant because it's not discrimination based on your race, religion, sex, creed, etc.
Think of it like talking in a movie theater. There's no law against talking, but if you're disturbing other customers then the theater is going to kick you out.
Welcome to the forum! One thing's for sure: Attacking other users on an enthusiast forum is a nonsensical way to try to change policy.
Meh.Now, now .. I did not disagree with the idea .. I simply noted that it was "leading the witness" so to speak .. thus helping flavor whatever replies you got from that point forward ..
my short list ...
Hospitals = no smoking and no vaping, however, ventilated vape rooms would make patients extended stay more comfortable.
Malls, Retail Stores and Grocery Stores = no smoking and no vaping (people should be able to curb urges until finished shopping).
Schools and Campuses = no smoking and no vaping (however there should be designated smoking and vaping areas).
Private Bars and Cafes = no smoking, however vaping should be store owner's decision.
Parks and Beaches = definitely vape friendly, however, as for smoking, I am on the fence (smokers tend to be the worst litterbugs).
What is really surprising to me is that more and more of the medical community aren't getting on board with e-cigs being a viable alternative and safer than smoking. Yet they are not being vocal? If they would stand up and be counted..... It seems as only those that are against it are getting the press. Yet time and time again I hear, from members here, that their doctor has either approved, recommended, or has seen the improvement of their patients in regards to e-cigs.
If we could somehow get those pro e-cig doctors to be counted..... Wishful thinking, I'm sure...
Are you aware that smoking restrictions are getting increasingly draconian?
I can only imagine this fact has at some point come to your attention.
Sometimes it seems that perhaps some of you don't mind or don't care.
I hope I'm wrong, but as I said, it does sometimes seem that way.
So, do you also support the idea of not being able to vape in public parks and on public beaches?

How about bans that include entire college campuses, including the parking lot in your own car?
Or entire hospital campuses, including the parking lot in your own car?
Or are you willing to concede those injustices as well?
And if so, does that include also these restrictions?
Or is that where you will finally draw a line?

This is not a rhetorical question.
I really want to know where those of you who ascribe to this "do not vape where you can not smoke" philosophy stand on these questions.
And more importantly, I want to know if you are prepared to fight against the entire idea of equating vaping to smoking.
