I am now 4 days into owning my first grand/rm2. I had been micro-coiling an Igo-L previously with cotton wicks, so I feel pretty good about applying that to the rm2 - still fine tuning for max flavor. The question I have relates to squonking though. I'm cool with the need to squonk frequently between draws, but it seems I have to really squeeze the bottle to fully load the rm2. I'm wondering if maybe the tube is too close to the bottom of the bottle and is somehow restricting the pressure of the juice going up. It looks to be about 1/32" from the bottom. Has anyone trimmed the end of the tube to raise it a little and did it improve the flow? I'm afraid to monkey around too much without asking to avoid a stupid mistake. Between bottle fills, I always blow out the tube from the top, so it doesn't seem to be blockage within the tube. Any help is much appreciated - or maybe just a message to man up and squeeze the bottle!

Yep. I have cut the tubing shorter in many REO's! It will suction to the bottom and prevent juice from flowing. Also check the tightness of the lid. Should not be overly tight.

Cut the tubing at a slant and see if that helps!

You can cut the tube I leave them long because I have had customers toss themselves in the dirt because they cant get every last drop from the bottle . Your tube hitting the base may just be whats causing your issue . Keep us informed we will get you running smoothly

Ok, thanks Rob. I'll give it a go and report back.

Could the culprit be the juice? A thicker ratio -- high VG? I vape 80pg/20vg -- I haven't had to cut a V notch in any of my tubes.

I use a 50/50 diy juice so the thickness is there for sure, but I think the issue was the tube too close to the bottom. Once again - my tube being too long is such a burden...

I just realized I forgot to cut my tube on my new REO. I went to cut it and pulled the tube out completely. I can't find my superglue and the tube doesn't want to stay put. My REO is down for the count. And to top it off, we are in the middle of a severe thunderstorm with golf ball sized hail headed towards me. I can't head out to the store to get some superglue. Now I am stuck with my Sigelei with my Oddy Clone. :(

if your willing to cut a small piece off the tube it will stay without the glue . Before you glue it back in place you should clean the tube really good super glue and e juice dont work well together

You can also try using the other end of the tube. :)
