besides functionality and aesthetics the protank 2 has a tighter draw. The 510 drip tip area is also slightly smaller then most other tanks I have. I would say about 80% of my drip tips fit it.

Mine gurgles and get liquid into my mouth when I draw. Feels like its flooded, not a lot of pull I ha e to constantly tighten and loosen the tank to get anything. What can I do to fix this? I even tried a dry burn to get the excess liquid out. Protank1

I had gurgles once, swapped out atomizer and it stopped.
Make sure not to fill it 100%

I recently started removing the plastic cap on the draw stem of my Protank II. I've heard others have issues but with a ~3mm wick (I use cheese cloth) with no flavor wick I find if I leave the cap on the draw is tight and I have wicking issues when chain vaping.
With it off the wicking improved greatly and the flavor is better. I use 50/50 PG/VG juice, so if you use higher PG juice it may be different. I've found with most ecig customizations YMMV and it only wastes time to give it a try and see how you like it.
