Question on XHALER brass caps/adapters

OK...I got my XHaler in mid December and am loving it. I found that I get the best taste and vapor using SLB 510 attys. None of that is pertinent to this question though....just minutia..lol

On to the specifics....

I added the "510 tip" to my order...so with my order I received:

2 brass end pieces with threaded fittings

-and-

2 chrome colored adapters

One brass piece has a smaller fitting than the other one. Both adapters fit the one with the smaller fitting and neither fit the brass piece with the larger threads (that goes without saying...lolol)...

One of the adapters has 2 little vent holes above the threads. The other adapter is obviously for the 510 attys I've been using.

I'd like to try other attys with the XH and would like to know what you guys recommend.

But also, what the hell is the other fitting for? 801 attys? ...and what is the adapter with the little vent holes for?

I am surprised no one answered this. The two brass caps are 801 and 901. Like you said the one adapter is to get you to the 510. The other one with the two holes is most likely either an adapter to let you use the be112 attys or for the kr808 cartomizers. Since it does not fit on the larger 801 cap, then it is most likely to use the 808's. As far as preference, I use mostly 510's on mine. Everyone is different and if you are curious, I would just get one of the 801's and 901's to try.

The second chrome adapter would probably be the 901 to 801 adapter (some attys had issues on the 801 brass tip). The 901 to cartomizer adapter I got was a matte black tube with only a single hole in the side, so I don't think that's it. So it sounds like you can try 801 and 901 attys with what you have and would only need a cartomizer adapter if you wanted to try 808's or GreenCigs.

I guess I was incorrect. When I bought mine I got the two brass tips(801 and 901) and mine came with an 801 to 510 adapter. I later got a 901 to 808 adapter. I guess things have changed a little. Sorry if I mislead you Turco.

NP, hittman....I was just a little confused. I guess I just didn't read the XH description thorougly. Thanks for everyone's responses.

Now I think most will agree that the 510 atty is king, but what are y'alls thoughts on the other options out there?

I have tried all of the different attys/cartos and for me, 510 is KING, lol.

The 510 is my favorite too but I did kinda like the 901 also. I just popped three or four attys in a short period and got a little gun shy and went back to the 510.

Y'know - going back to my first statement in my initial post regarding attys...

Is there anyone that has used the SLB 510 atty AND the HV atty? Are there differences between them in your experience?

The SLB doesn't get as hot as the njoy 510 atty and the flavors of the juice really come out with them. I have not tried an HV atty yet. To be honest, the price of them scares me away a bit. Not to say I won't pay for something that's worth it, just want to know folks experiences that have tried the two different attys.
