I make VG juices, no PG, with 10% 100-proof vodka. Thins it well, but not too much. Haven't tried PGA since we can't get it in PA, but I'm pretty happy with what the vodka does. I thin my vanilla juices with 10% vanilla extract, since it is primarily alcohol, and it gives a nice vanilla base flavor. One could probably do this with most extracts that are alcohol based.

Does vg really cut the flavor a lot?

Yes I have found that straight VG mixes require a lot more flavoring as the VG masks the flavor.

Good question jlmanno cause i love cotton candy and i have some DK (chineese juice) that is pg and i loooove it but when i mixed my 100% vg and added the cotton candy flavor, it just doesnt taste the same...not very sweet at all. Hopefully someone will come along with an answer.

Try adding some marshamallow in with the cotton candy, and add more of the cotton candy flavoring.

Another problem I'm having is I have a bottle of 36mg coffee that seems to have no coffee flavor. I just got some loran's coffee flavoring but the more I add it doesn't get more of a coffee taste it just starts tasting a little "peppery". Any suggestions?

Try using Lorann Keoke coffee, wonderful flavor. The regular Lorann Coffee taste like crap IMO and is WAY to dark.

Most people that use 100 proof or 90 proof vodka find it adds a little more hit to the juice, since it is not PGA is has distilled water in it. So the added hit is why people add alcohol to their mix. I use 20% of what ever amount of VG I add to a mix. Also to check viscosity, use the mirror method. Take a small mirror and place it at a 45 degree angle and drip a drop of VG mix and a drop of standard PG mix side by side, see how long it takes them to run and how far. If the VG is slower than the PG mix add more distilled water or Alcohol, if it is faster add more VG to thicken it.

And, I forgot--the vg does cut down the flavor.

Correct, that is why I only add 20-30% VG to my PG mixes, it does not mask the flavor and adds more vapor.

Hope this answers some of the questions. If not just post some more and I will try my best to answer them.
