Made a serious effort to drip tonight.....and liking it:2cool:

Now I got some newb questions.

1-Dripping while driving...how do you all do it? Wait for a stop light? pull over?
what happens if its a long trek on the interstate? safety first you know.

2- Pumps? Saw only one in my forum search. Are there DIY pumps or others out there being sold?

3- Do you drip with a PT? Why or why not? Any tips or advice?

4- Just for curiosity, what type/material do you prefer for drip tips? Do you DIY?

5 - Anything else you can add?:p

I prefer straight "tailpiping" from the atty.

The atomizer has a quicker cool down with this method from my experience. Allows for a greater number of drags and offers me a similar experience to an analog.

Yes I drip and drive unfortunately. haha I usually have my ecig out and connected to an atty sitting on the seat beside me with a bottle of juice. I will keep hands on the wheel while I do a quick drip at a stop sign or red light and vape away. About two or three drops is usually enough for the length of an analog cigarette, so that works pretty well.

If it's a long drive, and you need to concentrate on the road, a filled cart is the way to go.

Very carefully! I don't advise it, but sometimes you just have to. The longer you've been dripping, the easier it is to do, even while driving.

I only drip manually.

Absolutely, there's no difference, except you have unlimited battery life.

4- Just for curiosity, what type/material do you prefer for drip tips? Do you DIY?

I prefer the delrin drip tips.

Dripping is best IMHO when you remove everything but the heating element from your atty. i.e. wick, bridge.

1) not a problem with drip tips on

2) i've seen some here, though i am still waiting for a great mod that doesnt look too wierd or not as expensive as the auto feed available for the GG device

3) Yes. I use a 510 passthrough (the one with a battery box) and dripping is just as normal as i would with my eGo

4) ive used the steel drip tips in heaven-gifts 5x metal drip tips for 510/901 e-cigarette - Drip tips Heaven Gifts and they have changed my vaping experiece greatly. I've had virtually no flooding nor mouth spills, and the minor warmness it gets from the atty is actually nice compared to the stock plastic cartridges. since the e-juice is vaping in a virtually sealed fashion (as compared to my old setup where there were visible spills after sometime) i've tasted a whole lot more flavor than before

5) i recommend that you read on the atty cleaning methods people have in this forums to help you more in maintining a great drippping-vaping experience! the best one that has worked for me is the dry burn method

jimmyjams,

nice avatar, but i don't recall Eddie looking quite that way back when I bought that album when it was first released!
Also Saw them on their first tour through FL, Lakeland civic Center.
They walked out on stage and 1500 screaming fans would not stop, bruce and the boys stood there for 5 minutes dumbfounded by the crowd. Back then tickets cost around $8.

It's actually Animal from the muppets. Glad you like it! Congrats on starting dripping. Hope it's a smooth transition. You won't be disappointed.

Dripping probably isn't wise if you are going to be on the road and not stopping very often. Especially if on freeways where you cant just pull off easily.. cartos might be better for this.

I made my own first drip tips by just taking out the filler material and using a cordless drill and drilling out the mouthpiece leaving a hole to drip through. Cheap way of doing it.. lol

I like the Delrin Plastic since they don't conduct heat to your lips/ Some like metal.

You can drip with a pt. Just be careful to not overdo it with the juice and get it down where it shouldn't be.

I just use the empty carts for dripping - I prefer the whistle tip and you cant get a drip tip made that way - for obvious reasons lol
I DO drip on my PT - and love it.
I dont drip n drive - I use a filled cart for that - although sometiems Ive used dripping in traffic snarls lol.
Nothing else to add other than dripping is my preferred method since the first couple weeks of using a PV (decemeber) and although I flirted with cartos for a bit, I came back to dripping; not much to mess around with (I hate cart filler).

I drip and drive all day, but I do it in a way that is perfectly safe. Check it out:

Those might be the pumps you're talking about.

Also, the "juice feeder" type box mods like the Mr. Puffer etc. generally drip juice right on the atty.

I tailpipe because it helps me monitor and adjust the atty temperature. It's the only way I have found to keep my 510's alive @ 6 Volts.
