Questions regarding the V2

I love my V2, but I will say that there was a fairly steep learning curve to figure out on it for me. First, I am not used to there being any play/movement on switches/connectors on my gadgets so it really surprised me to discover that I get a better vape when I tighten the adapter down, then loosen it about 1/4-1/2 rotation and press the switch in and towards the atty slightly when I use it. Also, I started out with a 901 atty, then switched to the 808 cartos. As with my 3.7v device, this has given me a much longer battery life in the V2. Not entirely sure as to why since it was many moons ago that I studied electricity in physics. Anyway, before this gets too long winded I will wrap it up and leave you with this: get a V2, they rock!

I talked to Steve and created a ticket to send mine in so he can have a look at it. Was planning on sending today but work was crazy. I am glad I did not get to it because now I might know what the problem with mine is.
I received the other two adapters today and since I have some 801 attys I put the 801 adapter on it and it fired up fine. I have been vaping on it since I got home from work. No problems although it does still need a firm press on the button. I cannot get any of the 510 attys to fire on it at all.
So Steve do you think this narrows it down enough to say that my problem is the 510 adapter I have?

Update:

Been vaping heavy on it since yesterday around 5:30pm using the 801 connector. No issues, it is working fine and still on the same batteries.

I think my only issue is the 510 adapter I received is defective. I still cannot get it to fire with any of my 510s.

Steve rather than send the entire unit in can I just get a exchange on my 510 adapter?

hey DG ...

Just shoot Casey an email and we can get your 510 adapter fixed :)

Just take note ... 510 WILL wear down batteries faster than any other atomizer/adapter combo ... They pull up to 1.75amps (or there abouts) 801 and 901's pull between 1-1.4amps :)

note taken

Mine is not even firing on new batteries with the 510, once or twice if I push the button just right or twist the adapter I can get a little fire on it, but after comparing it to the 801 which is working great it is pretty clear that my problem all along must have been the adaptor.

It is working very well with the 801 and I am loving it.

Thanks again Steve, I will open up a new ticket today and request the old one be closed.
