What type of glue do you guys and gals or Rob use for the magnets? I had one come off the door and one come off the mod. Unfortunately on opposite sides of the same setup, so I have a completely unattached door. It came off the door a week or so ago but they are so dang strong it held just fine with one. But the the other came off yesterday.

I use super glue.....but be careful. Once you screw it up, it stays screwed up.

Clean out the holes as well as you can....scrape out all the old glue. Then make darn sure to NOT get them in upside down when you put them back in. Put the one you're replacing on the one opposite it and then mark the back of it with a black dot. Then when you're gluing it in, just make sure the black dot is hidden. (Confusing enough?) It's just that they can really be jumpy and slippery. And super glue is pretty unforgiving: there are no "do overs" without tears and gnashing of teeth....

Acetone, good old nail polish remover. You never got your fingers stuck together with super glue? I have more times than I'm willing to admit. lol
Be careful if you have to use it on the door, it can dull the finish.

honestly I think gel is too thick and will really increase the odds of the magnet not fully seating, the really thin watery stuff may be a pita to use but it's really the best for something like this I think. if the watery stuff is a headache for you then just take a paper plate and dispense it on that, then use a toothpick to put some from the wet spot on the plate to the magnet or in the hole, gel almost always causes gaps in the mating surfaces and is really more intended to fill gaps, the watery liquid is made more for a flush fit

if you do use gel then def use the tiniest amount

Well as I tried to explain in my first post here, the magnets that came off were not a pair. The one on the door came off one side and the one on the mod came off the other side. So I stuck the two loose magnets together and marked the back side of each. I glued one in the mod and it looked perfect, then the door and it looked perfect as well. Waited a couple of minutes and slid the door on and both repelled each other. I should have checked each individually with the magnet it would attach to. Seems I took my stupid pill this morning. Now I have to PM Rob and admit my stupidity and ask him to send me a door without magnets and also 2 magnets separate. I will now have a mod and door that work fine together but the door can't be used with any other mod.

Instead of drilling why wouldn't you just remove the opposing magnet and reverse it to match? You guys are overthinking this. There only two poles, if it's wrong it must be the other way. The device doesn't care as long as you are mating north to south.
If you read the OP there are two that need to be reversed. I'm not overthinking it, I'm fully aware of how magnets work. How would you suggest that I "just remove it and reverse it"? Those magnets are glued in flush with the door and mod in a hole that is barely bigger than the magnet. It would have to be drilled out or try to get some solvent into the very tight space around the magnet.
Doors are relatively cheap and Rob is sending it with magnets shipped loose. If i do it this way there is zero chance of f----ing up
my mod.
But thanks for your suggestions.
