hey guys im new to vaping and have been experimenting with the flavors the shop near me has witch isnt many. i saw in one of the stickies about flavoring i was wondering if i were to get vegetable glycerin and mix it with say sailor jerry spiced rum can i use the rum or whatever alcohol for the flavor or does it not work like that? i figured i would ask before i do any thing. thanks in advance. of and i will prolly be mixing a no nicotine batch if i can do it.

I would say no. The flavorings we use usually aren't straight up ETOH, and plus I have no idea what they "spiced" it with? I would think a lot of ETOH would be pretty harsh.

VG is vapable by itself but VERY VERY thick. I have someone that I make juice for that uses 100% VG because he is allergic to PG. But it kind of mutes the flavor and also produces little throat hit. Also it changes the flavor of some juice because of VG's already "sweet" flavor.
ok. so vg is the one that makes it kind of harsh. that was another question i had if it was the vg or pg that was harsh. i have been vaping totally wicked e-liquid and the menthol i had was harsh and the cherry i got today wasnt very harsh both were 18mg.
You have it backward Monoxide, Nadamarie said "also produces little throat hit". It is the PG that produces the majority of the throat hit. VG is mellow and thick but makes the most vapor. PG is harsher and thin and produces much less vapor.

ok sorry. i read it wrong thanks for correcting me. do they sell vg at walmart. better question is if they sell vg at walmart is it safe to use also are any of the flavors they sell there safe to use in a ecig. sorry for all the questions but i want to learn as much as i can.
eh, walmart has a small selection of lorann's.. dont' use oil. I would just order online at Wizard Labs. that's were i get all my stuff. I bought VG at Whole Foods before...but honestly...I would just order online. I'm the "mix master" for my husbands company lol so I highly recommend Wizard Labs.
Any booze with flavor will probably have waaay too much sugar which will 'destroy your joose device; especially SJSR!

I hear ya. I hear a lot of ppl have a tough time finding VG. I searched high and wide for my first DIY like 2 years ago...finally just decided to break down and get WL stuff...but since my husband is in the business now that's all we use. So its easy for me to say use Wizard.
i will deff check them out. but right now im sticking local. last weekends car show left me broke. lol and now there is another one next weekend. im gonna go to walmart now and check. and maybe grab some dinner to. lol
Glycerin is easy to find. The only kind to use is labeled "Glycerin, USP". If it says Kosher or food grade or anything but "Glycerin, USP" do not buy it.

just wondering why not use food grade. i saw a few recipes for some e-juice on other sites that say to use food grade
thanks ill check there first and then look for loranns flavor no oil. (sorry if thats misspelled)
