Do you take your Provari with you when you are out and about or do you leave it at home? I ask because I was at the Redbox looking for a movie vaping away on my mini when a guy walks up and asks me about it. He also asked if I was afraid to leave the house with it for fear of dropping and breaking it. I had never considered that. One of the reasons I bought a Provari is because of its incredible reputation for durability. The amazing vape quality is why I bought a second one. So do you take yours with you and why or do you leave it at home and why?

My vaping experience to find the best setup for me:

I started out in "serious" or advanced vaping with a BB (small light and easily transportable) and a Silver Bullet (comparatively larger, heavier, and not so easily transportable). Moved up more with a regular Provari for the option of variable voltage.

I loved the Provari so much that I literally took it everywhere, however, I sometimes I just longed for something lighter in weight and more pocket-friendly. I experimented with using the BB again more and more when-out-and-about, but I missed the ability to change voltage on the fly with the many flavors that I use.

I didn't want a Twist/Spinner, preferring to find an inexpensive mod that uses a replaceable battery. I considered one of the 14500-powered V-V mods, but the reviews were critical not so much because of the mod but because that size battery wasn't strong enough for the usage I was looking for. I purchased a couple different gripper-style V-V box mods which were lightweight, comfortable to hold, and very pocket-friendly. Those got used a lot for outside the home while the Provari got most of the action homeside. Yet it wasn't too long when I noticed that I was often grabbing the Provari when I left the house...just because I preferred the vape it gives me.

For my 1 year being smoke-free, I awarded myself with a second Provari. This time a Mini, which I knew I would eventually get at some point since I loved the first so much. This Mini now replaces the two gripper mods for out-of-the-house and the two Provari's see at least 90% of my attention at home if not more.

When Serenity Gear begins to take orders again I plan on ordering a leather custom flexi-sleeve/lanyard for the Mini, something along the lines of this one.

Initially, I planned on using my ProVari primarily at home and continuing to use my other devices while out and at work.

Then, I just started using the ProVari everywhere, all the time.

Then I bought another one.

↑↑↑ . . . Same thinking and same scenario, here.

Thanks for the replies. The crazy guy at the Redbox thought I was nuts. I have been vaping for more than 3 years and in that time I have broken more ego style batteries and lesser quality mods than it would have cost me to buy 5 Provaris. My original full size with the extended cap has been through a lot, closed in my car door (dented my car door and only left a small scratch in the ProV) and down a flight of concrete stairs (two more small scratches) and numerous other minor falls and I have never had a single problem with it. I was so impressed with it I had to buy a mini, now that is the one that I use when I am out of the house it doesn't fall out of my pockets so easy.

Hey Bad any idea when Serenity Gear will start taking orders again?

No, I keep checking the website every 3 - 4 days. At one time he had a notice on the website he'd begin taking new orders around mid-May, but that never happened and the notice has been removed and not replaced with a current starting date. He must still be trying to catch up with older orders.

The guy does great work and I assume he works alone. He's earned a great reputation with his product. I find it odd that there is no competitor business to challenge his monopoly in the market.

Likewise, Bad, I keep checking the website, but he's not open to new orders, yet.

I'm looking for a fairly simple black Mini rig in a 350 battery configuration.

I initially thought I'd use it at home exclusively but that never happened! This thing goes with me everywhere...work, walking the dog, running errands. I never worry because its always close to me & if anyone tried to steal it from my hands I'd just have to use it as a weapon!! Lol
