Quick, what did I do wrong? Before I ruin another bottle

I'm using 70 VG/30 DW juices I got from Mt Baker. Even with extra shots, there's not enough flavor for me. I bought Super Concentrated flavors, alcohol based from VapingZone. Added a few drops of Apricot VZ to the bottle of Mt Baker Apricot I had. It's acting like oil and water, not mixing at all.

I can't find or remember who recommended doing this. Is it just the apricot? I'm not really ready for DIY (obviously) - I thought if it wasn't water soluable it would say so.

What am I missing?

I'm assuming this bottle of eliquid is trash now

Try putting it in a warm cup of water and see if that will help blend it.

It's not necessarily ruined. I doubt there is any oil in Mt. Baker Juices. Just keep shaking vigorously every 30 minutes and continue to vape it

Warm water didn't work. I don't think there's oil in the Baker juice. I'm wondering if it's in the VapingZone "alcohol based" flavors. No one has had this problem?

I asked VapingZone about it. The reply I got was a "If you don't mind my asking, why did you add distilled water?"

You didnt add distilled water did you? I mean it was already weak... blatent avoidence of the question you asked it sounds like. I have one flavor I found out to late was oil based. I tossed it.

shake, shake, and shake some more. it may take it a couple days or more to finally blend well. Its not ruined. I use almost boiling water in a mug. Well, i heat it in mic to just start boil. take it out, let it sit for a few minutes. shake bottle, put bottle in mug for a few minutes, then repeat till water is cool. Shaking and time is what it takes. Heat just speeds it up a little bit.

I did not add the distilled water. It came that way from Baker. If the Rep at VZ doesn't know why people add DW to VG, then she's newer than I am! And yeah, blatant avoiding. This time I simplified it - do you use oils in your alcohol based concentrated flavors?

Haven't heard a response back.

OK, i'll give it time. And shaking. And hot water. I just bought a mug to use for only ecig purposes Thank you so much. Now i'm just annoyed. Still cautious of the others.

I really like the flavoring from VZ, use the concentrated flavor all the time. Before I use it though I leave the top off the bottle for a couple days and it does need to steep.

I don't do anything when I mix it. Don't put it in warm water, etc. etc. Just let it sit and give it a couple shakes.

Edit: Be careful not to use too much, it really is concentrated.

I have about five flavors - fruits, chocolate, and cream. Again, i'm really new, I have been reading the stickies, but the info (if it's there) isn't sticking in my brain! So - could i leave the tops off of all of those next to each other, or will they cross-contaminate flavors that easily? Does it matter if it's in the room by the woodstove or the freezing cold room? (Only two cat free places.)

I only leave the tops off to get rid of the alcohol smell a bit. I think it says to use 2.5%. Last batch I made of pineapple, I used 3% and after about 3 days it was excellent.

Every room in my house feels cold to me, so I guess the cold doesn't bother it all that much. LOL

I put a drop of Koolada in (do you have that?) to give it a cool taste. It's not really necessary, but I like the way that tastes in fruity flavors.

I only got the flavors that matched the flavors of Mt Baker I already have that aren't strong enough. Blackberry, Cream, Green Apple, Chocolate, Apricot - oh yeah, decided to be OK with hazelnut (it has 3 extra shots.) Budget is beyond blown for this month. I kind of liked the menthol in Mistic pre-filleds (first ecig), but I'm not sure I'd like the other flavors cooled. I opened the ones I had. My fingers smell a bit like a tootsie pop

They won't go to waste. If you end up liking them, you can make a huge amount with the concentrated flavorings. Compared to buying liquids, making your own is pretty cheap.

Have you tried the apricot since you added the flavoring? It's probably too soon to tell.

It mixed! Oh my goodness! Yay! (hot water, lots of shaking, patience.)

Still doesn't taste like much of anything. Guess that's the steeping? Added about 5 drops to a 15 ml bottle. It came with 1 "extra shot" of flavoring from Mt. Baker. I'm vaping it anyway, just to give the hazelnut a break.

Sometimes a touch of sweetner will bring out the flavor. I don't happen to like sweet but maybe someone here can help you with that.

glad it mixed. Steeping almost always helps from what I can tell. Best analogy I have read is. Think of it like a good spaghetti sauce, or a good chili. Always tastes better after a couple days when all the flavors blend together.

It seems apparent, but make sure the juice is in a large enough container for shaking.

a lot of fruit flavors other then citrus require a bit more flavoring then other deeper flavors i usually use extra sweetener and a few drops of sweet tart to my fruit mixs to bring out the flavor more. once i get it the way i like it i steep for a few days, if it is still just how i wanted it then i jot it down in my recipe book i keep with my supply's for when i want to reproduce it.
