I was able to quit smoking for five years. Now I rarely vape and I owe it all to e-cigarettes. I used my time wisely. I knew the day would come when this would all end, so I quit and reduced the nicotine levels every few weeks. I look amazing! No one, not even my doctors can believe how I am shining! I literally glow with health from being off of nicotine!

I had so much fun ordering several ProVari 3 -- about ten of them!!! But my family members are lawyers and we want to make sure that not only myself, but other siblings will always have a way to remain cigarette free. We do not use nicotine. That is a stupid thing to do if you really want your freedom.

I am glad to have seen this day coming. I will be set for life. I suggest other vapers actually withdraw slowly from nicotine. You will handle this oncoming inevitability so much better. It's tragic so many people are actually hoarding nicotine in their freezers -- especially if they do not have long to live and are in their fifties to seventies. How sad for them, I feel so sorry for them. Best of luck!

Hello and congratulations on kicking the cigarette habit, Sandy! So awesome that you also got your family Provari's!

Not everyone want's to give up the nic at the same rate, I went from 28Mg 3 years ago to 2 now, and will go to 1 next year. It's more a psychological thing than a physiological thing at that point, but I plan on keeping nic in the freezer so I can keep that comfort zone!;)

Congrats Sandy! We all know how life changing quitting smoking can be.
I too, am in the weaning stages. I'm down to 1mg of nic in my juice and should be off of it completely by my 1 year anniversary date (Jan. 3, 2016 = 1 year)
Having said that, I have no plans to quit vaping but if vaping goes by the wayside, I won't have the nicotine monkey on my back.
However, I will fight for vapers' rights until the fight is over.
So glad you did so well.

Welcome and glad you joined.
1 mg user here. I plan to go to .5mg next DIY mix. I thinking i might want the nic for the taste and stay a little "wired".
Us old folks need a small jolt or two to keep trucking.
Like your take on vaping. Too bad we can not seem to get the FDA to recognize the benefits of vaping. It's a no brainer.

The FDA is not going to come around. It's not about safety, it's about money. Anyone can see that. I am lucky to have been forged and jaded into reality by legal-minded people who know that their is no such word as "fair." Thank gxd for money. Lots and LOTS of money.

I hope the people who are dealing with serious lung diseases like emphysema and cancer do not wind up vaping through their stomae. We just do not allow that kind of addictive behavior in our lives.

Fair enough if that's what you want but I have no problem with using nicotine, and for me, freedom is having the choice to make that decision.

Why? I never contemplated to quit. I even didnt want to quit smoking and vape only. I had planned to smoke and vape after my important ceremonies. (Holywood effects you know) I loved smoking. Only when I had my very first inhale of e-cig I thought why should I smoke when this thing is providing same pleasure with it. It was not popular so there wasnt any medical research about vaping but for me it had obviously less harm. I never knew my nic rate for I always took liquids and diluted them to my liking. Although it is compelling me to decrease the rate and I am not very keen on vaping as much as when I began. I go out for several hours and dont take it with me.
Still I love vaping and dont intend to quit. No one can strip me from this pleasure (against human rights :) ) And they will not be able to prevent vaping at all.
BTW I did not like your attitude as "I quit you suckers are still on it ha ha ha." Dont worry my friend a misfortune still can compell you to smoke. Pray there shall be e-cigs if/when you need any
