Am I understanding this correctly? You haven't been vaping or smoking for 2 weeks now and still having throat problems? If so... I doubt it's vaping related.
That's like saying people who develop skin cancer who haven't gone out in the sun for 5 years weren't affected by the sun, or that people who develop smoking related diseases, even though they had quit smoking for a short time, were not affected by smoking.
Everything is cumulative, damage is done and is not magically "undone" when we stop something.
There is much we do not know about vaping. I cured myself of GERD (was on Nexium for 15 years until I made very major dietary changes), but vaping has brought it back, for instance.
I suspect that subohming, and high watt vaping, due to increased heat passing along sensitive tissues, will be the next thing that will start to be discussed, same as custardy flavorings have become a point of concern.
ANY changes in mouth, tongue, throat, esophagus, lungs, etc.---in ANY PERSON WHO IS AN EX SMOKER----is cause for concern and should always be followed up with a medical professional. Whether you are vaping or not vaping. Vaping doesn't magically exempt people from cellular damage done by years of smoking. Vaping doesn't magically exempt people from contaminants, etc. that are being in contact iwth mouth, lungs, tissues, etc.
We just don't know. It is harm reduction. Not harm free.
