We all probably know somebody who has "Quit smoking by eating obscure food X". I never had too much luck with any of them (still smoking, after all), but some did seem to help a bit. Wondering if anyone has any suggestions...
I'm hoping this won't devolve too quickly into a "vote on your favourite crisps" thread (I'm in for cheese and onion, btw
), so let's set some rough ground rules:
1) Hopefully something that isn't too obvious. But if it really helped more than you were expecting, post away.
2) Hopefully not too obscenely expensive. If we're going to eat them compulsively...
3) Hopefully not too bad for you. See 2) above.
I've found sunflower or pumpkin seeds shallow fried in oil (you don't need much, they emit their own when they're hot enough), with a good slosh of soy sauce fits the bill. Put the soy sauce on when they're still hot, most of it evapourates off, leaving a smokey residue... Nom
