you may not want to get rid of everything, just in case you have one of those days where you need a nic fix...
8 years of vaping and still there are days where I crave a smoke

and yeah, cutting your nic down is a good start... I'm down to 1.5mg but I don't plan on quitting, too many mental health issues that I use vaping as a placebo...that and studies have proven that small amounts of nicotine can help with alzheimer's, which runs in my family...

as for cinnamon being hot, yeah most of the one's i've tried are all more red hots than cinnamon, but diyflavorshack's cinnamon is pretty spot on if you're interested

some other things as I saw you said you had some reactions, try a higher vg level vape, I can't vape anything under 80% vg or it irritates me...nor can I vape higher than 30w or I'm hacking up a lung, I can't do hot vapes...
but congrats on trying to quit :)

maybe you can find someone who's starting out near you and piff them a setup or two, when I was starting out and couldn't afford mods, my mod broke and well I'm a single mom of 2 special needs kids I couldn't afford a new one and if it wasn't for some very nice and helpful folks in these forums that piffed me some things (mod, charger, battery, tank) I wouldn't have been able to continue vaping...
you could check the uk national forums here : UK Forum though you can't post sales outside of the classifieds but you might find someone to piff some things to
there used to be a thread just for piffing items but it's long been closed, but maybe you could start a new one in the uk national forum...

other than that I'd make a post in the classifieds to try and sell it or as others suggested maybe some local vaping websites

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm pretty sure you can sell vape in the UK, unlike in the USA. So basically, look for the most popular classified sites for the UK & list them there.

Planet of the Vapes is a UK site that has a forum. Not sure if they have a classified section.

You can list them here on ECF, too. But there aren't a ton of people from the UK here and not everyone looks at the classified section.

Hey guys ands gals, I’ve been vaping an awfully long time and now come to the conclusion it’s time to quit... I am in the U.K. , so I’ve not really got any idea of where I can get rid of most of my hardware.... lots in the collection.... I’m definitely not just dumping the lot of it, as it cost me quite a bit in the first instance.... obvs I will not be getting rid of any batteries etc as I can still use those in torches etc... I have managed to wean myself off nic salts (due to bad reaction) , and back onto less than 3 mg nic at the moment... I plan on making some 0 nic liquid to aid my quitting.... if anyone has any helpful advice- please post.... thanks!

If I was going to Quit Vaping, I'd take a similar approach as I would to someone Quitting Smoking. Cut back on the Nicotine 1st.

Your plan to make some 0mg is a Good Plan. I would Also suggest switching to Unflavored also. I'd go for 2 or 3 Weeks Completely Nicotine Free and then set the Vape down.

As to what to do with All you Hardware? Wouldn't it be Cool to turn on a Smoker(s) who has a Desire to Quit on to it? Christmas is coming. What Better Gift could you Give than Helping someone who Wants to Quit.

No worries, thanks for any suggestions, any comments welcomed! Lol cinnamon tends to burn my mouth.... lol I’m not into hot stuff or spices... lol thanks again

Agree with zoidman - 0 nic, no flavor, but would use only AG (aqueous glycerin) available at Decadent Vapours in UK or make your own - @83% VG 17% distilled water - the reason being that VG gives the most vapor and the "smoke" of cigs was almost as big a factor as the nicotine in the 'habit'- as evidenced by the effectiveness of ecigs vs. patches and nicorette, etc.

Ok so an update, for anyone who is interested.... I discovered that I was allergic to the ni-80 coils in my vape... I never realised that the effects could be as bad as they have been, so advice to everyone out there is if you have an allergy to nickel, please do not vape ni-80 coils... it could be very bad for you...
Now I'm unsure if I will quit or just never try higher than 3mg nic ever again... lol
I CERTAINLY WILL NOT USE NI-80 COILS EVER AGAIN!

I was thinking I was more addicted to the flavours than the nicotine, so I will probably try lowering the nic to1mg, but still keep up with the flavours that I know I like- thanks for the tip on how to make ag though.... will try that...

Hey I just started an accountability thread today. You're welcomed to join in. I will be using a method that I've used in the past, where-by I gradually increase the amount of time between waking up in the morning, and my first hit of nicotine. (using 0mg nicotine in the meantime) If you think you'll be around the ECF forums regularly, it'd be great to see you there.

Does Anyone Want To Try Stepping Down To 0mg With Me? -Accountability Partners Thread-

I agree, lower the nic. But also pay attention to when and how much you vape. Are you hitting it because you feel the need, the craving? Or are you vaping because it is time to vape? The latter is then just a habit. I would try to only take a hit when you need/want it. You'd be surprised as to how much less you'll vape. And when you are vaping, take the hit, then PUT THE MOD DOWN, out of your hand.

Having given this sage advice, it is duly noted that I have not quit nor attempted to quit vaping. Cigs? Oh, yea, many many times!! :)

Regardless, good luck, my friend. Stay healthy and safe!

THE hit? Singular hit? No No No No No... lol
I find it best to put yourself on a schedule. Vape every hour and a half for example. Limit yourself to 5 hits when it is time to vape. Then try to make it 2 hours, 5 hits every 2 hours. Eventually when you start to hit the 4 hours between vapes, and your train your brain to expect that interval for a few weeks, that's when I sometimes slip and go an extra hour or hour and a half if I'm lucky.

But lets be honest i aint never taking ONE hit and putting it down lol

I still use flavors here and there at low mix levels, but for the most part I've been vaping plain old PG, VG, and Nic for years. When I want a hint of flavor I just use it at low levels to add a little flavor to my unflavored mix. Once your taste buds recover then flavors don't seem to be as important.
