The way I see it, you basically have three options:

1) meet with your boss to get across your side of the story, explain that no smoke is produced, that it's no different from the steam from a kettle.

2) stealth vape in the bathroom.

3) modify an air rifle to fire sugar coated (MODERATED) pellets, find out where he lives, cam up, hide in the bushes and take him out. Quick, silent and deadly, with no ballistics evidence.

As far as I see it, 3 is the only sensible option.

Yeah man I just go to the bathroom and do some quick vape action. I work with so many people, and there's another contractor company that hires people with disabilities, so I don't want to have to explain it all day, every day so instead of going outside I just hit it up when I use the restroom

....Ok so maybe I tend to make restroom breaks that aren't necessary to catch a quick vape, but hey at least there's always something to look forward too at work! :D

As far as the question about 2nd hand vape, there is a thread somewhere on this forum
that shows a report about that, and the results show that there is almost zero chemical
or anything at all that could be harmful.

As far as that little rat fink, the boss should not have revealed the worm's name. That's
not a very smart manager.

It is lame that he tattled rather than ask you.

I am new to this, so let me ask. Have there been any studies that show whether or not there is any second hand nicotine or other elements that are emitted? My wife is pregnant, and I go outside to vape for the benefit of her and my child. Would rather not chance it. It was my understanding that this method of nicotine delivery is too new, that nobody really knows the long-term effects. I'm doing it knowing that I am taking a risk, but that's my choice. I don't mean to be a wet blanket, but do we really know that there is no harm in second hand vape?

This is a summary of a test a group of scientists did.

This is the full 11 page report.

Hope you find it informative!! :)

There's really no need to do it at work. I work where I can vape, around guys named Buster and Burke who could care less if it was Cohibas I was smoking. But I still don't fire up where other people are. For one, it looks kind of silly and fiendish, so I could see where it may be distracting. I would feel the same way if someone was sucking on a pacifier as well. It's time we should be just happy that we get to vape and not still be hooked on cigs and we get away with stealth vapes. We'd be a lot further between smoke breaks otherwise.

My Nephew is vaping some RY4 and it's irking the heck out of me because the scent, one that I happen to hate is lingering around my house.

Try this experiment. Take a big ole puff on your rig. Hold your breath for 90 seconds. See what you blow out. Now there is no need to hang in a stinky bathroom and you will go through half as much juice because fewer puffs will satisfy you.

Okay 90 seconds is a little long there buddy...

I'm glad I work alone and unsupervised :)

I sit in a cube surrounded by 5 other cubes. No one has ever even noticed me vaping or said one thing or cared one iota. I get along really well with the other five people.

this is my setup exactly... i have been vaping at work for about a month and noone has said anything.. there are a few in the office that i will consciously not vape when they are nearby, but for the most part i think i've been remaining quite stealth... the few ladies i work with who smoke, of course i had them all try my eGo with my midnight apple, and they all wanted me to send them the links to where i got the stuff.. hopefully in time i will convert them and therefore have less of a stigma attached to vaping if anyone in the office has a problem with it..

also.... SNITCHES..!

I don't see the point in being angry at the postman or the boss. It looks like smoke, and if there are customers or other people from outside visiting your workplace, it will give a very nasty image. You rarely have the choice of explaining vaping to everyone. I sometimes do stealth, since it doesn't do any harm or disturb people. Holding it in for 10 seconds is often enough to vanish the vapor, but I don't get a good satisfaction that way. So toilet it is. But I rather do it outside in peace, by myself. Just as I used to smoke.

Just don't do it publicly at your workplace. It's not like it's a disability assistive device that we are required to use. It's our own addiction. I respect the prejudice and don't vape in public where it's not allowed to smoke. I really don't want to be showing an example of an arrogant vaper vaping where it is not appropriate. The legistlation will take some time to catch on, but I believe vaping will be generally banned from public indoors.

And I'm okay with that.

I agree 99% with your views. I went to a hockey game on Friday and I mixed some 100% PG @ 24mg. I wanted a stealth vape that was strong so it would last longer between doses. I had about 5 puffs once an hour. I held the vapour in for 10-15 seconds and breathed out downwards. I don't see how this could be banned , since there is nothing visible coming out. Indeed, the guy beside me slopping his beer around and breathing his fumes around was much more noticeable.

I guess it wasn't stealth vaping because i wasn't trying to hide what I was doing, I just wasn't producing any visible vapour. The same would be if I was using a rescue inhaler, nicotine inhaler (cigarette holder with cotton filter with nicotine), or the nicotine spray.

I agree that clouds of vapour or even enough vapour for others to notice could be a distraction or annoyance to others, at times. I feel if they see no evil, they should speak no evil, and I will hear no evil! Lol

Do you think they can ban or complain about public vaping that does not produce vapour?
