Rant!! Need to Let It Out.

I hate people. I really REALLY hate SOME people. In Particular the kind of folks who see a drunk person *me at the time* and take advantage of the situation. Last night, quite buzzed waiting for my ride home...Someone stole my PV. The bartender was insanely sweet, and even looked in the bathroom for me. I went to the establishment this morning but it was not there. I'm just furious over it... Okay maybe not furious but really mad. It's so stupid!! Its like... " Look dingleberry, its electronic. It needs a special charger. Stealing it well you are dumb because you obviously don't have one. Secondly, it has an atomizer on it. That puppy isn't going to be tasty for long without juice!!" I know I know, part of it is my own damn fault. I was having a GREAT night! Why people have to go and ruin it... blah. I still had a fantastic night just not looking forward to spending around 25 dollars for a replacement battery, new atomizer, and a drip tip. ....... took my recent favorite new swirl drip tip!! * and i saw no other vaporers out either and really, someone who vapes It would be hard to imagine they would steal it understanding what a dcik move that is in the first place*

It's hard to rant about this to other people not in the vaping community. I thought it would be appropriate to just " let it out" to others who can really just understand my frustration.

Any camera's in the bar? Sometimes night clubs/bars will install security cam's just in case there are fights, or other unlawful acts. Just a thought.

Frosting, i totally understand your frustration -- i guess its the same if you left like your cell phone at a bar and you would hope that somebody would have enough morals to try to return it or give it to somebody at the establishment in case the real owner returns. Unfortunately, morals seem to not be very important these days to some people. What's funny is that if he is not a vaper, he probably doesnt even know what it is!

Yea that sux. Lesson learned, however. Don't get so drunk you become vunerable. It's happened to me years ago. I had my wallet on the bar...lol...I AM THE IDIOT. The thief is just a thief..lol.. I'm the fool. I mean, my wallet!? lol what the heck was I thinking??

I really am sorry but please don't focus on the theft. Focus on your mistake. Make sure it NEVER happens again. You are responsible. You can, however, start really frequenting that establishment and you might just see your pv in action! And kick some ....!

dotma.. people saw me use it, but still ya who-ever it was, was likely not a vapor and the battery is going to die and blah ya. I hope they bring it back once they realize it has become useless.

Oj--- sadly.... that is the truth. Usually it takes you doing something god awful stupid to learn your lesson and be more careful. Next time even if i am really drunk, this is always going to be in the back of my mind. oooo and see my Pv in action... possibly but by then ya.. lol i doubt it's gona be working.

There's a nice guy that makes great box mods on the forum. His name is Old Goat. He sells them with a lanyard strap that you wear around your neck. It might be a good thing for when you go out and party It's usually dark in bars and if you ever dropped an ecig, you might not ever find it. Just don't get in any bar room brawls cus they'll choke ya with your lanyard!!!

I've been thinking of upgrading my 510's to an EGo. I was thinking of maybe engraving my phone number on the batt or maybe sticking : if found call (xxx)xxx-xxxx on the batt in case I ever lost it.
I like the idea of engraving because you can remove a sticker but I'd need the engraver thingie. hahaha ... geez, everything in house would be engraved if I had one

Yes, you live and learn. My Prodigy V3 and my lava tank (and my phone and my last $2) were stolen from my locker at my oncologist's office while I was having an MRI. Only thing that was found was my crushed lava tank and a battery that had been run over in the parking lot. Now I can wait to vape when I get home.

Hmmm.... I may consider that when I have the funds a cheaper e-cigg for nights on the town when i may get royally plastered.
I just wonder... let's say, Like if I'm using a joye/riva 510 will it feel the same as my eGo and the difference is only battery life? That's more my concern. I really enjoy the TH, vapor production and so on with my eGo.

Oh ya, called the place. I have to call monday and talk to the owner, but I can't watch any footage. So if someone did steal it i may never know WHO did.


I feel your pain Charmed. I've lost way too many phones myself. When you loose your cell it feels like you lost apart of your life. Sad but true, I dunno about you but I don't have many numbers memorized. If you use Verizon I know they have a back-up app for free for such a situation that stores all the numbers on your phone if anything happens. Loosing a Prodigy V3... oooow...My wallet would of cried.

I always take a 510 with an extra battery to the bar, just in case. Since we smoke outside in Michigan, it fits in well with my smoking friends when we go outside to "smoke". My mods aren't super expensive, but I know how mad I'd be if this happened to me! Hope it's the last time it happens to you!

Really sorry to hear about what happened to you. I would be mad to if I had to go through the same situation. But hey, you get a chance to get another mod or two now. One for home and another to take out with you that you might not mind loosing or whatever. I do the same thing when I go out.
