I've been in several vape shops and none of them knew anything about mods/tanks/dripping rebuilding etc....yet they'll happily sell you a rebuildable tank/dripper etc and some wire (way overpriced wire btw) and let you walk out of there with a 3amp 3500mah 18650 battery???

I amost WANT to call for regulation just to put these idiots out of business. Am I alone in this feeling?

Oh joy. Yet another B&M bashing thread.

Why do you feel entitled to be spoonfed "instructions" when you buy something? :) I bought some drain cleaner at a Wal-Mart once and surprise... the employee there had no credentials and couldn't tell me anything about it. :D While it would certainly be nice to have knowledgable people selling their wares, a B&M to me is just a place to go when you need something now. As long as somebody there can work the cash register that's all I need. :)

Like anything else in life... do your homework and know what you want and why you want it.

In all respect a vape shop is different than Wal-Mart though. Asking someone for info in a place that sells thousands of different items is one thing, but vape shop sells vape related items and these items take caution depending on what your going after. Not everyone knows how to find the answers they're looking for and should by all means be able to do so at store that is selling. Imagine if the people that worked at your local auto shop didn't care about customer safety. Easy street to shutdown. I definitely think the people selling need to be up to par and at the least point those not informed somewhere where they can be.

I reported on this earlier, but I stopped in a B&M in a town about 30 minutes from me. The first clue was that one side of the store was motorcycle helmets, the other vaping equipment. I asked if they carried any Russians, the lady responded "no, but we just got some of these Aspire units, my husband is using one now..." Looked over at the husband who had a Nautilus sitting on a 650 stick battery. Looked like a giant lollipop!

Asked if they carried any wire. She said that they didn't but people kept asking so she might get some in, and asked me what kind she should get.

The husband then pointed over to a rack of EVOD toppers and asked if I wanted to try some juice. The samplers were sitting directly in the front window, fully exposed to the Florida sun. You could see stuff floating in the juice!! I passed....

I fully understand that people may not know everything about the business they are getting into, but I had the feeling that motorcycle helmets were not selling well so they decided to add another product. Do some research first!!!!

Stuff floating in their juice? ... that's what I'm talking about when I say these guys are mixing juice in their houses/bathrooms etc. Nothing clean...so you very well could be vaping dust, mites, bugs, whatever.

The guy here in my city who LOTS of people are buying juice from is doing just that...and it pisses me off because so many people are vaping his juice and whatever else might have fallen into the jug he mixed it in.
