okay, just finished a 13 coil 30 guage, that initially showed 2.5 on vvgripper, now is showing 1.6 after ten minutes of use. Initial impression at 4 volts is hot. No glowing coils noticed, but needs to be broken in better. I used a dual wick technique with 325SS mesh freshly oxidized. I think this one is gonna be a monster on this VVgripper. I think I need to huff a quick tank through to get it up to par with the last build.View attachment 126668View attachment 126669

Holy shiza, i like it :)

I think you could do a rough measure by going from the bottom of the tank to the top of the post then double it. Just make sure your arch is not taller than the posts or it will fry the cap. Update on my 13 coil 30G setup. has settled in at 2.2 ohm, is putting out a crapload of vapor at 4.2volts, throat hit is not overwhelming, taste is sensational but the heat is there, no red coils either. It must be that it has so many coils. It takes a minute to get that hot but if you chain vape it, very warm. Overall though, it is very enjoyable, and I think I will keep it till I get some 34G.

Oh for sure, will let ya'll know how it goes!!!
If you are going to use the u shaped wick try a 3/2 wrap with kanthal32awg,that is my current set up at 3.7 volts and im getting tons of vapor and the flavor is the best so far of any other configuration.Hope you enjoy and have as much fun with your Ra tank as i have with mine.I feel the need for another one tugging at my wallet.

I thought these things were supposed to save us money. Bought some 33 kanthal a1 this morning for another build. Can't keep my hands off. I still have the 30g 13 coil rockin though for the last few days. I need to leave it alone though, it is working better each day. Wish it would stop raining here I need to get outside and find a different hobby.

Nurzrachit. I have saved a few thousand dollars in the last 2.5 years by vaping and not smoking at 3-4 packs a day i was on the verge of needing a government bail out. You may want to slow down a bit and give your builds a chance to get seasoned, I only use kanthal32awg on my rebuildables and that gets the job done. If that old urge to fiddle has you in a death grip try building your own rebuildable, after that you may never want to fiddle agin. Hope the weather down yonder improves for you.Now go spend some more money on vape toys, thats what im gonna do.

Pounder,Yea, I've gotten cheap vaping, now it's a big deal to spend money. But, you are right, have saved overall, and had alot more fun doing it. I was standing in front of my dresser looking at all the loaded pv's, and could'nt figure out which one to vape. Got an old school resurrector carto on Roughstack with Atomic Fireball, what the hell. Ah the variety.

Since this style (single, straight wick) seemed to get good reviews, I had to try it. I'm not having the same luck. I used the 325 SS because I do around 30% vg and I like to chain vape at times. It's not wicking nearly fast enough for me. When I drip on the coil, it does taste great- but relying on the wick is a fail for me. My wick looks somewhat decent to me- there aren't any hotspots, it glows even when hot. Thoughts?

View attachment 122662View attachment 122663View attachment 122664View attachment 122665 . Ok guys. Tried different setups, this one works THE BEST. 400 mesh 25mm X 36mm + K-A1 34 Awg - 5 wraps. One of the holes must be closed. Wick MUST, MUST, MUST be over Air tube. Enjoy.

C-Note. Sorry to hear you are having probs with your Ra Tank, they are like all genisis style attys you have to fiddle with them a bit to get em working and in my case it takes about a full day after i get it right for the wick and coil to break in. i would buy your device, but i dont get paid till the third of next month. I hope you find a device that works for you, Vape on and good luck.

just breakin mine in good, been workin great from the start. Part of the enjoyment to me is knowing I set up my own atomizer, and it better than any I have purchased. Hate to see others having issues, but rebuildables are not for everyone. My best vaping buddy looks at me like I am stupid. she is in to plug in and go vaping, period.

Got an idea but have not tried it.
Oxidize SS first, then roll the SS and with a thin layer of cotton.
Thx. N
