Hello everybody, browsed for awhile and ready to make the plunge.
I want something that has enough power to provide decent vaping, but size is a concern as well. I want mine to be fairly portable. After doing a little (LOT) bit of reading, and seeing how expensive some of the "starter kits" where, I thought about building my own.
Here it is. I think I have everything, minus liquid, correct? Any suggestions to pickup other parts?
Am I totally wrong, and need to buy a starter kit?....lol

Thanks!
TOTAL: $70.08 shipped

If I were you I would go with the ego twist battery. Other than that, all seems to look ok. Price on the charger seems a bit high as well

Yeah if you're starting fresh, it may be a good idea to have "variable" options from the get-go :)

The 650 twist batts I've heard are the same size as a reg 900 batt, no?
Size is a concern as I will be using the same setup in my car, at home, and out on the weekends.
I don't want something that isn't portable, and is so large it's awkward to pull out in public.

I will look for the lower resistance heads. Great point.

What if I bought (1) 1100/900 Twist for home use, and a 650 for nights out on the town???

Ego batteries do work the twist is nice for a few more dollars you can have a Lava tube Then you have Rechargeable batteries
You will be throwing away your egos in a few months having to replace them The kit you've put together is doable. But most move up to some sort of mod fairly quickly. Id do a little more research if I were you.
Having said that I started with Mall ones, went to egos, then T-Rex 900mAh LRs then VV ego style they were kind of the pre twist.
You'll be money ahead starting with something like the Lava tube.

Yes, 650 twist is almost the exact same size as a 900 non-twist.

I am just making a wild stab here, but I think the buck-boost power regulation actually helps the batteries last longer than their non-twist siblings. I get really decent life out of my 650 twist, longer than non-twist.
