Yeah 12 must be very strong :p
Dang it... I just put 12 mg in my Kroma-Z pod (0.3 ohm coil at 30 watts) I can't really empty it without removing the coil. Maybe I'll just vape it in the mornings when I'm craving more nic. I have so many different strength juices... most not labelled. I need to be more organized. At least I did make a list of every drop-in coil tank and rta build listing the watts to use (that was a big problem before I made the list)

It would kill my my factory coil heads (which is all I was using at the time) within 3 days. I had to stop vaping it as it was costing too much money. I ended up throwing away about half of the 4oz bottle. It was cheaper to do that than to keep changing the coil heads. I never liked it that much anyhow lol.
Must have had real sugars in it.

Yeah, I don't know. Maybe some other ingredient in the flavor?

Now that I DIY, I might buy strawberry flavor and mix my own at some point just to see what happens. But strawberry vape doesn't sound as appealing anymore to me. I'm on a black licorice kick right now. Love it.

On the unflavoured front - when pre TPD I could get 32 strength Greek Nicotine in a 50/50 PG/VG mix in 100 ml bottles I used to mix it with the same 50/50 no nicontine liquid and IMHO, depending on the atomiser I used it in, its taste was reminiscent of my two old favourite British Cigarettes Senior Service Plain ( if used in a Nautilus Mini ) and Players Medium Plain if used in the little E Leaf Tank ... but British "Virginia" tobacco cigarettes were very different in taste from U.S Brands and style.

Unflavoured liquid never gunked up coils with me; flavoured coloured liquids would get me a week out of a drop in coil; clear unflavoured would get me 6 weeks.

When Cromwell who used to post on this Forum told me about the 6 weeks, I didn't believe him ... until I tried it for myself.

Black Licorice. That sounds GOOD! Does it create an astringent sensation?
I created a maple/nut flavor that does and I just keep going back to it.

I think it's from tannins, like a strong cup of tea left to steep for too long.

I think I might know what you mean. Like an alcoholic drink? I think if you used a high enough percentage (which wouldn't take much) you might get that. Although I have never tried it, an anise flavor might be better for that. Better yet, an anisette flavor (which I have never seen). I may be looking into creating a Sambuca flavor at some point.

I dry burn and re-wick based on flavor. Running dual Clapton coils (0.2 ohms) at 55 watts I vape hybrid NETs using a squonker and usually go through 25-35ml before flavor begins to suffer. I use two mods in rotation so end up re-wicking both every four of five days. I always re-wick both mods at the same time even if one still has good flavor.
