Reaching out to the Cigar Community...

I'm just curious if there has been any significant outreach about cooperating with the cigar community for cross support on petitioning and lobbying against government regulation.

What incited my curiosity was seeing how much more quickly the whitehouse.gov petition in regard to cigar regulation gained signatures, it is currently well over 30k sigs and I believe it was posted later than ours via Bill Godshall.

How does the cigar community generate consumer involvement?
Because whatever it is they are doing, that is what we need to be doing.

Regardless, I believe we need to get the vendors involved in directing their customers to CASAA.
That is probably the only way we would be able to start and maintain the kind of grass roots movement we need.

I don't think vendors, at large, really are interested in going "high profile"
opposing an agency which will be regulating them.

When I talked to my vendor today ..
He said the FDA will do as they please
and vendors will adjust.
