Reaction at the Traffic Light

I have been vaping for a little over a month now. When stopped at a traffic signal, I generally look around to see those stopped with me in the adjacent lanes. Now, I am starting to noticed people's reactions when they see me taking a drag off of my e-cig and blowing out the clouds. One lady today, just stared at me with her mouth agape and eyes agog!

I just waved and went my way...once the light turned green.

Nice, I have only had people look at me like that at store parking lots with the kids in the car.

I'm typically more concerned about people thinking that I'm smoking something "else" because vaping is still not very well known. The last thing that I need is somebody calling the cops because they saw somebody doing what appeared to be illegal drugs while driving and then being pulled over.

Same has happened with me - last one was at an amusement park - lady kept staring at me with a puzzled expression - went over and explained it was an E Cig - she was like Whaaaa? She said she was a closet smoker - Explained the techonolgy as much as I could - there seems to be a lot of ppl out there that have no idea E Cigs exist................a non smoker I can understand - but smokers - come on now - get with the program......lol

Don't know what they are thinking, but I am fighting the urge to give them a show. You know, a gigantic inhale and a massive exhale via nose and mouth.

Before finding this aite and doing research, all I knew about were those Blu e cigs and NJoy you see at gas stations. Thought that was all there was. Never even heard of a PV. My Ego hasn't got any reaction but I just got my Vamo V3 today.

Good, because there is no reason to, you're not doing anything wrong! Although I do get a bit nervous near a cop. Not that I am worried what will happen, just that its a pita to get pulled over.Peace & Vape On.

Yeah... Maybe it is an Old Habit from my Younger More Reckless Days/Ways.

But I Never take a hit when I'm stopped at a Light. Just like I never take a Drink off my Water or Soda either.

I normally use a Spinner or Twist with an EVOD while on the road for those reasons.

When I get my trident I plan to fill my car in seconds next to a cop or blow a giant cloud so he does stop or ask me the more people that know the better.

There was a mention a year or so ago about a woman who got pulled over for vaping and was made to dump all of her juice because she couldn't prove it wasn't a controlled substance. I guess the whole innocent until proven guilty thing was too much of a hassle for cops.

That said, I don't worry about who is next to me. I did have an interesting experience a week or so ago when two different vapers talked to me at two consecutive red lights.

They would have to arrest me, I would NOT pour out my LEGAL juice.......

I couldn't agree with you more.... There was a time when I believed everything a cop said... if they said someone did something I would trust them.... till I watched them lie and twist evidence on someone I know... and I mean BIG lies!! I was blown away!! I simply wouldn't have ever believed such a thing, and if someone had told me that I would have thought "yeah, right" Now don't get me wrong, I know there are some good cops, but there are also bad ones..... scary when you figure that out......(I should have been tipped off with the OJ thing)
