Deleted post 'cause I don't want to offend anybody. Just note the tone of many of your online voices needs tamed. The constant use of caps makes anyone struggling with this product feel like they're dumb. I'm not one of them. Never going to touch this stuff. Peace.

Wasn't trying to offend with cap letters, just was emphasizing my experience not yelling.
Two very important points to using this. The right size coil for the wick, and pay very close attention to the directions of the wrap.
whether you wrap left to right or right to left and if you start the first wrap under or over the mandrel will change if wraps are clockwise or counter-clockwise.
You need to twist the wick so that the wraps will pull it through, if you twist in the wrong direction the coil will be pushing the wick back at you. Let twisting with light pressure work for you, you cannot push it through, the wraps of the coil pull it through.
Also I use the whole long piece of wick to thread it through, so I have plenty to hold on to, then I cut it. I do not try to wick a 3/4 inch pre-cut piece.
I'll say this - I love RxW. But - it is a PITA for me to get in the wicks some times...that's why I have 3 to 4ft of both sizes now because I can go through an inch or two to get the dam thing in the coil...but when I do - I do a victory dance.
I also have a life-time supply of KGD and rayon...so If I get real ...... at the RxW and throw it across the room - I just wixk it up with one of the other till I calm down![]()
what is extra confusing is the absolute certainty that people say you have to use the right sized coil. No if ands or buts about it. Most newbie problems with rxwick is using the wrong size coil. Then everyone pipes in with different sizes being the right size. So the right size coil is 3 or 4 different sizes depending upon who you are talking to, and each person is absolutely sure that size is the perfect size. It's easy you just use a 1/16 bit for 2mm and 7/64" bit for 3mm... Or wait 7/64 is all wrong. No wonder everyone is having problems you need to use 3/32" bit. If it won't fit you must be building your coils wrong. You have to use a tensioned microcoil made by the wire gizmo, or is it a spaced coil? No absolutely not, spaced coils are all wrong, and the wire gizmo should only be used if you do not have a pin vise and drill bit blanks.
I actually like readyxwick, and i get that people are experimenting with different ways of using it. Then why is the prevailing attitude that comes across in every single one of these readyxwick threads that this is exactly how you need to use it. And no it's not expensive, because it last months and months. If you are not having the same experience you are doing something wrong. Just follow the simple conflicting directions and your perfect readyxcoil will last you forever and it will be the best vape you have ever experienced as long as you are not doing something wrong. It puts off a lot of people.
Ecf seems full of overly opinionated people that confuse opinions with facts. Mixed in with those are people that are incredibly helpful and genuinely want to point people in the direction that will give them an enjoyable vaping experience. Unfortunately it's been my experience that threads that deal with readyxwick are usually filled with the former. Maybe they need to be labeled "beginning readyxwick: The easiest way to use it." and "advaced readyxwick: Where we argue over minute details and tell each other that their way is so much superior than however you are currently using it."
