Good point on the contamination, and good idea on pulling it through.

Thanks.

Because it's so good at wicking I'd be afraid of contaminating the rest of the piece. Try winding a piece of 32 ga wire nice and tight around An end and leave a line to pull through

Thats great news ...... I can't imagine anything better coming along for me wick wise. This stuff is the shizzle.

Tim and everyone...i now have all five of my woods sporting 3mm RxW, simply wrapped like in the old days of silica, except i slip a little hex thingy thru the center of the ceramic, nothing fancy, and i love it! Boy oh boy, i've never tasted the flavor of my juices so fully!

A little while ago i made up my last one for an 18490 and changed the juice to Boba's Bounty.....I haven't tasted the full flavor of this juice in many months!

Actually i haven't tasted so much sublime flavor with any of my juices in months.

I'm a believer!!!!

I was trying to get a piece of 2mm thru a 1/16" coil, and no luck. I'll try a little tape next try, and see how it goes.

Did you try and cut the wick at an angle and slowly twist as you are pushing it through? I don't have much trouble with the 1/16 but the 1.5mm on the coil jig can give me fits.

Exact same thing happened to me, F-B. And I would have SWORN that I ordered it correctly. Makes me wonder a little.....
I was (I thought) very, very careful. Mine's not here yet, but I'm gonna try it when I get it. Who knows? Might be a blessing in disguise. I would not have tried it otherwise. We'll see.

I really like the 3mm, Jan....
but then, i'm kinda odd......

I'll still looking for an easier way to screw it into the coil. Last night I destroyed a piece trying to thread it through. I'm currently using a piece that I built the coil around. I'm wondering if I could do something like dip the end in nail polish, or something like that that would help it harden to a point, thus making it easier to get through the coil. After getting through the coil I could clip that piece off.

Anyone tried anything like that?

WHAT?!Not even two months off the stinkies and you're so far advanced in the vaping world?! Big humongeous YAY for you!!!!

In an earlier thread it was suggested that you thread it through like a screw bolt, not push it through, and thread it in the direction of the coils, hope that helps.
