I use xc-132 / 2mm, and mainly use kanthal but have also used nichrome without issues.

same gauge is a lower ohm and some people notice a flavor difference between the two.
lower ohms and supposedly nichrome heats up faster than kanthal so heat up times are faster and cool down is faster so the top caps and drip tips don't get as hot when using an rda
yap, at least.. when you first put a new wick in. after a dry burn for me, it takes several hours to get back up to snuff..
I haven't had that with a dry burn. My flavor was back immediately.
Just did BlueSnake's method and all is good. Quick, clean and no loss of flavor. Pretty friggin simple!!
What really amazes me is that I'm only using a wick a little smaller than 1/2 inch and I get 9 to 10 toots off that little guy!!

Just received my 5 foot of the xc-116 2mm from RBAsupply going to try some out tonight! 
Yepper, I'm getting 8 or so .... compared to 4-5 with the ekowool of a larger dia
I'm lucky if I can get 4!!! I take really long lung hits though. I still like it better than the cotton I was using.
Any one know when rba will have the 2mm back in stock? Or does anyone want to trade 3mm for 2mm?
how many of you vaped the xc-116 straight as it came and who boiled it before using it, did you guys notice any difference for the guys who did both
