That's what I usually do, even with 50/50 mixes. This is my first use of vg flavorings. I didn't realize the impact the heat would have. I mixed the ABC at 15% & let it sit about 3 weeks with no heat, tried it yesterday & just threw in some INA Custard that's also been sitting that long & it's delicious! Just the heat in the tank from vaping it is making it better. I'm going to mix more of the butterscotch pudding & the bread pudding. I'd mixed them all at 15% & they just seemed weak, even after 3 weeks. But with the effect of just a little heat on the ABC I'm going to start over!Regarding VG flavors, or any high VG percentage,
By warming the finished mix in hot tap water for a few minutes, you temporarily change the viscosity of the VG, immediately give it a good shake and you cut your steep time by a fourth the time
@BobC are you causing trouble over here?
I've been in a flavor rut lately, going to have to try some of these VG flavors.
O'course, what else would I be doing![]()
You're still postin, so your house is still standin, be safe buddy
...I'm not sure yet how exactly to use these in mixes. While the bread pudding is good on its own, it just feels like it's going to take high percentages to get any flavor out of it in mixes. We'll see...
Finally got my hands on some...Vanilla Custard, Cake Batter, and Bread Pudding.
I've tried the bread pudding. 10% with just an overnight steep. It's just a little bit weak for me (lacks "punch") but it's also very smooth and nice tasting. I will say that right off the bat I noticed that something in it is the same something that's in INW AM4A. Some kind of spice...

I'll be fooling around with the Vanilla Custard next.
Yeah, the more I use these, the more I realize that for my own taste preference, starting them at 10-12% is too low. Henceforth, I'll start them all at 15%. I know it's easier to add flavor than mute it, but with the 3 flavors of theirs I've tried, it looks like I'll be taking them all to at least 15% before being truly happy with the flavor.
I made the bread pudding a week ago. 30/70 with 12% bread pudding and I added the real flavors cream at 2%. It has a nice flavor, maybe not quite enough. It's definitely smooth. I taste it more on the exhale and a slight aftertaste but that may be the cream needs more steeping. Anyways I do like it. I also made the French toast stand alone but haven't tasted it yet. I imagine it will be similar to the bread pudding.
My 220ml batches of French Toast, Baklava and Pumpkin Pie extracts @ 3.5% are all about 3 weeks steeped now. The Pumpkin Pie will come out of the cabinet Thursday for a turkey day vape, ready or not.
Already vaped them at 2 and 3.5 %. I prefer them at 3.5%. I like them all quite a bit but the Baklava absolutely must steep at least 3 or 4 weeks before I will vape it. The other 2 are pretty good after a shorter steep but still benefit from steeping obviously. I also made a Pistachio Baklava that I found on the recipe site and adjusted some (it was based on the RF VG Baklava) and it is pretty tasty as well.I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on those so hurry up and get busy vaping!
Hmm, wonder if RF will do any BF deals?
