I tried 13 concentrates from Real Flavors and they all taste like ..... • /r/DIY_eJuice
Those are all the VG flavors, not a big fan of the VG flavors. Have to use too much and steep them too long. The extracts I have tried I like. Just ordered 20+ flavors.

Had some others I wanted but I still have plenty cap/tfa on hand of similar flavors so I skipped them for now.
No need to wish death on the messenger , it's all personal preference in the end .
What caught my eye was the big discount on Lotus (Medicine Flower) flavors at EcigXpress , always listed them for $9.99 for 5 ml , now down to $3.99 .
People say they are incredible flavors and very strong so i ordered two flavors & will sample to see if they live up to the hype. No way was i paying $9.99 lol.
NOW you tell me! I placed an order with Medicine Flower about the time you posted this. Could have saved about $25.00.

Based on the above, I diluted my 5ml vials (Vanilla, Caramel, Black Cherry and Raspberry) with 40ml of PG. The Raspberry is a little weak at that dilution but the others are just fine using at 3-5%.
OK, off to ecig to get more that I "might" like. At that price, why not?

I'm getting used to it. Last week I ordered several shirts from Land's End because they were having a 40% off sale. I received them yesterday. Today they're having a 50% off sale.
I admit to being tempted to return the one's I received ($8.00 in postage) and then re ordering them, but decided it wasn't worth the effort/frustration. So sorry they were sold out of the vanilla.
It really is exceptional. Also need to say that I like my flavor's "lite". My ratio works good for me but it may not for others. Like they say, YMMV.

Did you buy the MF flavors at EcigXpress because i don't know of any other site that sells them but i have not looked so that obviously has something to do with it.
The first time, I ordered from Ecig. Yesterday I ordered directly from Medicine Flower because I wanted larger sizes. 15ml is $22.00 and 30ml is $39.00. Genuine Flavors
Dropping by to report that RF's Lemon Meringue was a bust for me. Nothing wrong with the product as a food flavoring, but the lemony aspect fades. It's not RF's fault- lemon flavoring for vaping seems to have a tendency towards instability, no matter whose product it is. Oh, well. It's not a total loss, I'll just use it for cooking. I'm happy with RF, so I'll continue exploring their offerings. On to the next!
Hoping to start single flavor testing of my 24 new flavors today. Planning to do them in 6 flavor batches. I do 20 ml testers in 30ml bottles and test them off and on for a couple weeks to decide if they need more/less flavor and once I have tested them enough to get some bottles below 15ml they will get combined into 30 ml plastic dripper bottles to try combinations and wash/reuse the glass bottles for more testers. It is going to take a couple months to get thru all 24 and keep doing my recipe testers with my limited number of glass dropper bottles.

@Fozzy71, hey fozzy71 would you mind helping me and recommend some RF extracts that you will think are easier to mix with themselves, I saw this post too late and had already ordered 15 Vg's flavors from their website and now I can spare about $ 50, 80 bucks and I would like to get some extracts that I can use for awhile, before making another order.

Extract/SC flavors that make good single flavor juice? French Toast, Pumpkin Pie, Cookies & Cream, and Pancake are all quite good without anything added.
Vanilla Custard + Graham Cracker + Cheesecake together make a nice simple vape as well.
Vanilla Cheesecake Custard v1 (RFSC)
1.50% Vanilla Custard (Real Flavors)
1.00% Cheesecake (Real Flavors)
1.00% Graham Cracker (Real Flavors)
- initial smell = 2 much cheesecake, try lowering cheesecake (and maybe graham cracker as well) and increasing vanilla custard by 0.25 or 0.5
- Day 1, think I may want to reduce cheesecake 0.25 and increase graham cracker by same percent
- After 2 weeks it is coming together nicely. The cheesecake is still pretty forward but it is a nice vape. Think I may still want to lower it a little and increase the custard, and maybe add in a little brown sugar.
- 09Jan ~19 days steeped = very good, cheesecake has mellowed.
**Keeper as is IMO**
If you order French Toast you might want to pick up some Strawberry (and/or Apple) and Cream to make something like the following recipe. I only mixed it up 5 days ago but it is showing great promise:
Very Berry French Toast (RFSC)
1.60% French Toast (Real Flavors)
1.10% Cream (Real Flavors)
1.05% Strawberry (Real Flavors)
This one I adapted from another recipe site I can't mention/link.
Here is another I came up with on my own from my last order of 24 flavors that I am liking a lot. It has only steeped 10 days at this point so it may need some tweaking yet:
Elephant Ear v1.00 (RFSC)
1.20% Sugar Cookie (Real Flavors)
1.00% Fried Dough (Real Flavors)
0.80% Baked Bread (Real Flavors)
0.60% Brown Sugar (Real Flavors)
- finger test = rather sweet, maybe too much sugar cookie, or just rename it elephant ear cookie lol
- 10Jan - might want to up sugar cookie and reduce dough/bread a bit

ha, excellent. I will have to wait for another future sale. I got a ton more flavors I want eventually but I still have a ton of stuff from other companies I need to use up plus I already have like 3 liters of diy mixed up.
Nice I got some mixes too, they are tasty, single flavor at 15% but it seems it needs more steeping or more flavor, they are kind of weak so far
I had to take some of my VG flavors up to 20% and they definitely need a long steep. Some posters on other forums have said at least 2 months steeping time was needed.
