Really harsh throat hit and bad taste even on low wattage...

Agree with all but 15-20 minutes??
I find if I prime correctly I can vape it within 5 minutes & my coils last 3-4 weeks. Some people like to wash them, dry out & use again but I can afford coils so don't find thus necessary...

I've never washed coils, ever. When cotton is nasty and gunked up it needs new cotton, and with factory coils the only way to put in new cotton is a new coil.. but this is my opinion, in my rta's I don't wash the cotton - I throw it out. If you can't afford a 2 or 3 dollar coil each week I figure you can't afford to vape.. smoking cost much more each year than the cost of juice, coils, and maintaining good batteries and a good, properly functioning device - even if you buy a new device once or twice a year.

As far as the 15-20 minutes, this is what I do and never have problems.. it might be overkill but I figure better safe than sorry..with high vg juices and the increased wicking time, it's better to be safe than inhaling burnt cotton.. but this is just me.. I set it aside for a while before vaping..

I agree & also the same thing with smoking, if you can't afford it you shouldn't!

I don't use high vg juices, it doesn't agree with me. I use 50/50 so I suppose it will wick quicker. I prime it & in 5-10 minutes it's good to go.

I vape high vg (max vg or 100% vg) so I always let it sit longer as it is slower to wick.. I've had a burnt cotton hit before and there is nothing worse I don't think! But yeah, it's the difference between the higher pg juice verses the higher vg.. most mtl factory coils aren't made for anything higher than a max of 60%vg (and even then it's pushing the limits of the design) one notable exception is the nautilus x, that is made for up to 80% vg juices.

That's true & yeah the NautilusX has bigger wicking holes than some mtl tanks so can see why it wicks higher vg better :)

It's my favourite tank, getting the 4ml extender glass & I actually think the 1.8 coils vape better than any other nautilus tank. I'm one of a few who prefer the X.
It's underrated :)

I haven't tried the x yet, although I've heavily considered it as it IS supposed to be great, with every nautilus and nautilus mini problem addressed and corrected..

My only problem is I have so many darn tanks at this point I'm just not very willing to invest in one more.. lol.. that and honestly, as I can build my own coils to my liking I see getting a tank that takes factory coils as just a waste of money. I have my kayfun 4's and 5's , a couple Kabukis, my nautilus mini, a serpent mini, a taifun 3, a few genesis style tanks, and many many many more (to the point I began giving some I didn't like so well away) lol..

So yeah, just haven't pulled the trigger on one more.. even though the reviews are great!

I've started giving away a few mods but I need a few tanks & rtas for a stash for if things go to crap.

Oh I have more than enough of those! Will last the rest of my lifetime and I'm only 48! Lol.. it's the mods I'm more lacking in!

I'm planning on one more regulated mod, maybe two, after that I'm going mechanical all the way.. I have enough now for 10 years at least.. but long term I'm thinking boards won't last so well, so it's gotta be mechs thereafter. But I'm so late in the stocking up game, and had to break for nic for a while..

You can get the NaughtyX Quad Pack Survival Kit. It comes with the hardware to build a NaughtyX, an RTA, an RDTA, and a squonker tank. It's $30-$40. They also have a kit to buy if you already have the X. It's $20-$30. I did see one once for right around $10 but I am wary of going down the build-you-own-coils rabbit hole.
